The man has come to the US to visit her daughtr and the reason that he tried to get his green card was only because he wanted to be easier for him to come to US at any time and then come back. but on first days of his arrival he had stroke and he is under treatment, with no insuranse. His daughter won't be able to pay the cost. Is there any advice for her or comment? What is the process for possible governmental aid for him?

OK, my car broke down at the side of the highway on Thursday night. It was towed in by this local tow company. I called this place on Friday afternoon, to see how much it would cost. They told me that I couldn't come get the car because my name was not on the title (you see I forgot to send the signed title in to change the registration- dumb move i know, but purely a mistake).
So I'm trying to convince this lady to let me come get my car and she wont budge. Fine. I'll get the guy who I got the car from to go w/ me, as his name is still on the registration. right? good.
Well, my dad and the previous owner go to the tow shop to get the car and low and behold these fools have released it to someone else. They made a mistake and didn't look at the VIN # carefully, and released my car to some stranger. After she went round and round with me about how I couldn't come get it. She couldn't provide me with any description of the person, and somehow, they had a key. WTF! What Do I DO!!!!!!

My answer is yes. I don't think a man who prays on children will ever look at a child the same way again and there's no way he could rape another women. Counseling, jail time and drugs do nothing. Now I can't think of a serious punishment for women who commit these same crimes other then sewing their vagina shut. Both sound inhumane, right? Well so is rape and molestation.

me and my cousin were caught shoplifting at nordstrom rack and the cop intervened. he wrote us a ticket and charged both us with petty theft except.. i had pliers with me and told me that it was a burglary tool and so i got charged with petty theft and possession of burglary tools. what class of misdemeanor do i have and what could be the punishment?

I have been asked to create a site so people can 'Name and Shame' drivers who use mobile phones while driving! (as long as it is safe to do so, obviously!)

But...

What is the law on this ?

Can someone take a photo of someone who is using their mobile while driving and publish it?

There are sites out there and publications that 'Name and Shame' for other reasons, can this be done for most things, namely drivers using mobile phone while driving their cars?

As usual someone is complaining when a criminal is being treated too severely. No wonder there is so much crime in the world; when people stick up for them, sympathize with them, and act like they are a victim; people will feel no guilt.
If you ask me the people that feel sorry for these CRIMINALS are CRIMINALS themselves.

It seems at times that leniency is given to those who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol and commit crimes. It seems unfair to me, but I would like to know what the rest of you think. I have a friend whose cousin, 21, was just sentenced to a prison term of 42 years for stealing cars. Some murderers get less time than that...

If you are getting divorced and you find that all of your joint assets have suddenly disappeared, is there a way to find them. I am guessing he has moved them to Switzerland or Canada. Any ideas? The assets were stocks and bank accounts.

loan. So basically they told me his private info and continued to harrass me for payment. I called the division of finance and they told me to submit a formal complaint both for myself and on behalf of him (since he is on a job site out of state) Today I received a letter form them addressed to he and I and it is a copy of what they sent to the person in charge at the company (a payday loan company) it reads as follows:
Dear Ms ?:
This office has received a request for assistance on behalf of SO and So (my boyfriend). As you can see from the attached materials (our complaint) that we have received, there are some questions raised concerning the way the loan was handled. We question the validity of any contract involving someone who is a the outset not involved in the loan. We would appreciate your review of this account and your advice concerning what has taken place. We would be especially intrested in whatever remedial action might be appropriate. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????

Help! My ex plays games with visitation like no call no show, visiting abt one time monthly and then calls making demands and posturing like i am keeping him from his kids. He emailed and told me he would not be here tonight but would be by tomorrow at 8. i replied that we will be at church at 8pm, and he can either come after we get home - 9pm, or sunday am. he called abt 6am yelling at me. I told him that if he can not be polite i would hang up on him and did. later he called back and left a msg that he expected me not to be home for visit time - 6pm, and that he was bringing "a police escort" to have me arrested for interferance with his "rights!" this man is nuts! I will be back at the lawyer soon, but any advice? I can not afford this!
