you might start with with your states Legal aid office.

I am assuming that your question is how to find a lawyer at little or not cost. If that is your question, you need to contact Legal Aid in your county and/or state. You can find them in the Yellow Pages. You can also call your county's Bar Association and ask for referrals. I can promise you, though, that no one works for free, including lawyers, so be prepared to pay something. Good luck.
