In my original question I asked if our police have become too militant. How is this question in violation? I am still waiting for an outcome as I have petitioned the moderators. Free speech or censorship? Note that I am a criminal justice and sociology major at a university.

At one time, slavery, interracial marriage and unequal rights were considered the norm. Now, the hot button issues people are fighting over are abortion and gay marriage. What will tomorrow bring? Will it even crazier stuff that we will accpet and get use to when today we see it and think is wrong. Is like saying all drugs are going to be legal or kids can smoke at any age.

Prosperity Partnership of America? Has anyone else heard of this deal to make America and Mexico and Canada one like Europe, and also the new monetary system called the Amero? I found out of these plans being made, with out the publics awareness. They also plan to build a new highway system four football fields wide from Mexico to Canada. This must be why they arent doing anything about illigal aliens.

I do not understand this. First, it's just stupid that since the 50's this cat and mouse game has been going on. Customer threatens to walk away before saleman walks into manager's office That stuff.

Second, I can't believe that with today's overly litigous society, lawyers don't file 300 lawsuits per day against auto dealers for discrimination. I'm lost on this one.

There is this family of mice infesting my house, eating our food and shedding furs and poop everywhere. Is it wrong or illegal if I am to make them shed blood everywhere instead? What else should I do if I am not allowed to kill them?

I CANT SEEM TO FIND A JOB. I try and I try to do the "right thing" but persistently forces are working against me. I feel I have a good case against these types for the invasion of my civil liberty, the persecution of my rights to attain freedom through work, sociological conditioning and love are being battered by a bunch of fish, all drowning in their own knowledge of the unknown. I feel as if the best solution to end this problem starts with me but once much data has been collected and shared where do we all stand?

What advice would you offer the committee regarding Internet pornography? Wold the policy be laissez-faire, or would it require strict enforcement of tough corporate guildelines? Why?

It has finally happened a brindle pug in the ring in Canada!
Just curious to know since most of the show people on this site are American, how people feel about a brindle pug being shown in the ring last weekend in Canada and awarded a 1st place ribbon in it's class?????

This has caused a huge upset in the pug community and I have been told that the AKC is having an emergency meeting to look at revisitng the wording of the standard. My understanding is that a brindle pug in not allowed in the ring in America period !
Is this correct???

In Canada our National club is still trying to figure out what they are going to do about this, but aparently letters will be sent out to all the judges to educate them about the Canadian breed standard which does not disqualify brindle as a color.

The brindles came from a breeder in the USA and are AKC and CKC registered I saw the papers with my own eyes (the owner also said that the dogs were DNA tested.)
She has 2 brinde pugs entered in the Lower Mainland Dog Fancier, show at the end of the month, the biggest dog show in Canada. If they are not excused from the ring there is a chance, even if it is a slim chance, that one (or both) could get a Canadian Championship as there are 3 specialties at that show
.
I'd like to hear from people about there thought on this.

Hi All,

Please help. I sold my car about a month ago.
I bought some hub caps for it beforehand, though I didn't attempt to fit them -but showed them boxed when the buyers brother was inspecting the car. Unfortunately they didn't fit, as I prep'd for the car to be picked up.To add, the buyers brother inspected the car fully, test drove it, and was a nice chap. The buyer himself came to pick up the car, and after about about a week, contacted me to say that:
1) The gear didn't shift properly between 5 to 4 (something I was not aware of, but he implied I was).He wants me to foot some of the bill for repairing this.
2) That the hub caps didn't fit
3) That I advertised the car incorrectly as 'reliable'.I never had any major problems with it
4) That I was not a good example of someone that works for the company I do (it has a good reputation), as I gave brother my business card with my mobile no on it.

What's my legal position? What should I do next? He has written to me.

If you read the artical on yahoo, it states that people who have a degree average 23,000 a year more then someone who just just has a high school diploma. In return, the government gets more in taxes because the person is making more $. If that's the case, then why do people complain about government providing money for college students for tuition?
