That shows the assault on me and proof that she filed a false police report to cover for what she has done
(In the picture)The foot stool is white where everything in not because. All the couch covers were removed because they were covered with blood.
She sent me this email on the 1 of September with no word that I had done any thing wrong to her on the 31 of August. Why did she wait six days to file a complaint? That’s because she was freaked out that I was going to turn her in and that she could be held liable for what she had done to me that is when she sent me a text massage stating could we talk again. When I didn't call, she panicked and went and filed a false police report.
My hospital records show the damage she did to my face and that cannot be disputed. Not to mention all the seizures I have had sense I was struck in the face. I have never ever had this many seizures in my life. Please help me I'm the victim here.

I have an interview for a position of Secretary at the District Attorney's office. I was hoping somebody could give me advise on how to write a letter from a District Attorney's office that would accept or decline an offer made from another attorney's office. Also, any pointers for the interview would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Should we get rid of affirmative action and other race-based laws?
Our government made race discrimination illegal with the civil rights laws of the '60s, which I totally agree with. No one should be treated unfairly because of race, sex or religion. However, our same government gives special treatment to minorities for government jobs, loans, even housing. If a private employer asked a person for their race on a job application, they would be sued for racial discrimination, but our government can and DOES consider race when giving out govern. jobs, or loans, housing. I even applied for a loan at a private bank online once and they asked me for my race, which I couldn't believe was even possible.

I think special treatment race-based laws do more harm than good. It causes minorities to depend on their skin color and not their skills, which in the long run does serious damage to them. Why the double standard?

The event coordinators get what they want, and if the scalper can't sell them he loses money. If I purchase the right to sit in a certain seat, why can't I sell my right to the highest bidder? It's not like buying a CD, copying it, and selling multiple copies. I'm not mass producing, but I am buying and selling much as I would if I bought real estate and turned it for a profit.

A question was posed about convicted killer Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker), and the fact he has been on death row 20 years.

Some of the answers puzzled me. For or against, if the sentence is death, should it not be carried out? Capital Punishment was originally designed as a deterrent to crime - how is 20 years (as in this case) of free room and board, clothing, etc a deterrent?

What I want to know is - why are you for or against the death penalty. Lengthy answers encouraged - this is not a one sentence question.

My employer was recently aquired through acquistion by a corporation. I'm being told by my boss that following certain procedures of the new corporation isn't necessary and that I should use my best judgement (doing as previous employer's policies and procedures were). Curious if doing so will come back to bite me.

(10/26/06 - LAWRENCEVILLE, GA) - An immigrant from Africa has gone on trial on charges alleging he circumcised his 2-year-old daughter with a pair of scissors to avoid bringing shame on his family.

It appears to be a groundbreaking prosecution for a case of female genital mutilation in the U.S., said Taina Bien-Aime, executive director of Equality Now, a New York-based human rights group that focuses on violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world.

Khalid Adem could face 40 years in prison if convicted in Gwinnett County on the charges of aggravated battery and cruelty to children.

Prosecutor Marty First acknowledged that Adem, who was born in Ethiopia, is from a culture that practices female circumcision.

"But circumcision is just a nice way of saying mutilation," First told the jury in his opening statement Tuesday. "There is no doubt that she was mutilated. And this is not something you go to a doctor and do because no doctor will do it. He did this to his own baby."

The practice, a tradition in some African cultures, is widely condemned by human rights groups and has been outlawed in the United States since 1997.

Police have said that Adem used scissors to circumcise his daughter in their Duluth apartment in 2001. The child's mother said she didn't discover it until more than a year later.

"He did not do that. He never wanted it to happen," defense attorney W. Mark Hill told the jury. "He will tell you that. And that only leaves two people. The people who were primarily taking care of the child. The mother and the grandmother."

First said the girl told Gwinnett County authorities that her father cut her. The prosecutor quoted Adem as saying in late 2002 and early 2003 that if the girl were not circumcised, "it will be a shame to the family."

"He said he wanted (the girl) to have it done so that she will not be promiscuous," First added. He also said Adem implied he had already circumcised the girl.

Hill denied Adem ever made any of those statements and asked how the victim's mother could not have known for more than a year that the girl was circumcised.

Hill said Fortunate Adem's allegations stem from a nasty divorce and a custody battle over the girl.

A man was convicted of sexual assault in a fair hearing and sent to prison for 6 months. Now there is someone who is up in arms about the case broadcasting the names of the victims all over his blog. Is this legal? What paths are available to put pressure on him to stop? I have no problem with him throwing his opinion around, but naming names has to be wrong.
