Can you be expelled if caught making out?

Question

If you are a student and caught having sex in your school / university, can you be expelled? Does the school have the legal ground to kich you out?

And is it the same when you become a professional, working for a company?

Happens all the time: oral sex, at least, in the stairwells. There was quite a brouhaha in the Washington area after the Washington Post published stuff on the goings-on in middle schools in Northern Virginia.

Office parties have much the same reputation; but obviously having sex during working hours, unless you are a sex worker, is grounds for dismissal. Actually, if you are talking about the USA unless you have a labor contract you are employed at will and can be fired for any reason or none. I can't imagine someone making a successful discrimination claim over being fired for hetero- or homosexual sex, unless the boss is notorious for doing the same thing. Especially if it's the other kind s/he does.

anyone who had such a lack of self control should definitely at least be expelled or fired. It is not but a few hours until dark or out of school or off work. I think you could wait that long.
That is why I am for home schooling. In small class rooms of say under 10 children all the same sex. They do remarkably well in that situation.
We have a lady who is a teachers aid who has turned her garage into a school room and has taken 5 girls with her own daughter to home school and the parents pay her wages.
The girls where problem students who didn't do well in public school and since have done fantistic and have doubled and tripled test scores.

As far as the University is concerned, I think it is more likely that the student would be suspended for a time, as he would for any other breach of discipline.

I worked for an enterprise where the porter/security guard was caught in a compromising position with another employee on the premises while he was officially on duty. He chose to hand in his resignation rather than face disciplinary proceedings which would have resulted in his being dismissed. No action was taken against the woman concerned.

Yes you can especially with all the noose tightening laws regarding public sex you could also be charged as and forced to register as a sex offender if convicted because anywhere except your property can be considered under most laws if the owner objects to your conduct and files a police report or if anyone who witnesses the act and objects to the behavior.

Sex in a public place or in a place where the general public might see you is illegal so getting kicked out of school or losing your job is the least of your worries , you could end up being taken to court and placed on a sex offenders register .

Well, most likely u will get expelled if it is on school time.
But leisure time , i see no reason to expell.
I dont think the school will kick u out, we all just humans and
go with the flow.

if a school/ university has a code of conduct that is available to students they must also list penalties for breaching theses codes they may consider have sex on school property to be a breach of theses codes but they must be listed in a way they can be understood ie if you dont understand the rules how can you reasonably be penalised for breaking them you would have redress in law against any action.

Schools can 'kick you out' for many reasons. Perhaps you attend a private school that has a specific policy against public displays of affection.

Keep it in your pants, and save it for a more private area, we don't need to see it.
