Pornography is visual whereas prostitution is physical.

Prostitution is legal in some states, i.e., Nevada and in countries like Holland. And not all forms of pornography are legal. The person participating needs to be 18 years of age or older. Child porn is illegal.

Pornography is considered by some as a form of "free expression" or art. All "actors" are paid whereas prostitution only one person is being paid to engage.

i dont lnow why but i pondered that very same thing. if you live in a state where voyuerism (amatuer pornography) is legal then couldn't bypass the whole solicitation of prostitution if instead of asking for sex for money you ask a hooker to co star in a porno film and you'll pay her. so long as you actually record it and all.

Because slavery is illegal and prostitution is a form of buying and selling a person. At least in the USA.

Prositiutions is probably not legal since it is one of the top ways to spread sexual diseases, and can put women (or men), in harm, such as a criminal of some sort.
Pornography,..... that took yrs to even get it legal. It became legal in the 60's, and more ppl just demanded it more. Along with the fact no one is really getting hurt.
