I CANT SEEM TO FIND A JOB. I try and I try to do the "right thing" but persistently forces are working against me. I feel I have a good case against these types for the invasion of my civil liberty, the persecution of my rights to attain freedom through work, sociological conditioning and love are being battered by a bunch of fish, all drowning in their own knowledge of the unknown. I feel as if the best solution to end this problem starts with me but once much data has been collected and shared where do we all stand?

Have you seen V for vendetta?

"Nobody wants to hire the guy who's going to bring the AK-47 to work because of a mediocre review or because somebody took his red stapler."

Great comment, well and truly understood thanks Jim. Isnt it great when we learn how to get along. My internal tone changed immediatley upon consideration of my future as opposed to my history.

Ever think your palpable anger and evident paranoia may be the leading causes for disqualification from employment? Nobody wants to hire the guy who's going to bring the AK-47 to work because of a mediocre review or because somebody took his red stapler.

There are lots of jobs out there. Why do you feel that they are violating your rights? Are they not hiring you because of your race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation?

The question is are you the best qualified candidate for the jobs you apply for? If yes, the employers would be calling you to say you have the job.

Are you being honest on your applications? Are you able to pass the drug screening tests? If the answers are no, that might be the reason why you aren't being hired.

Do you have a felony record? If so, there are certain jobs you can forget ever having. Be truthful and explain that you want to turn your life around and prove to the employer that you are worthy of their trust.

The biggest reasons why you aren't hired is usually the impression you make during the interview. If you go in looking your best, that is only half of the battle. You need to also nail the conversation down-be a confident speaker. Also remember your manners, thank the interviewer for his or her time. A thank you note sent the office might do wonders.

Also think about aiming lower. A rotten job with no benefits is usually better than no job at all. Employers want people who will work hard. A good attendance record at a minimum wage job will impress more than a history of sitting in front of a television.

Ask a friend or a mentor for help. Also try with small business where either your friends can support or where too many governmental permissions are not involved.

Huh, I believe that I can see why nobody will hire you.
