I would suggest that any committee investigating internet pornography be sure they know the nature of any dealing alleged to have occured. Another consideration is the workplace itself, does it have a written policy?
If the employees are left to decide what turns em on and when then the best suggestion is to ensure that each company has a signed and written regulatory form that outlines behaviour protocol and excepted standards.
It is unwritten law that anyone caught enjoying the in humane be scrutinized! This is why the internet and pornography is incredibly dangerous. Once upon a time the only way youngsters witnessed such sick **** was by peering into their parents underwear draw. Now what is happening is ones curiosity or will to experience terrorfiyng visions is being coupled with a lawful reason to prosecute. Im sure in not the only one who has recieved un solicited files of damaging images, however I feel these serve as a effective barrier against your own bad will. Only those genuinely excited by sick, twisted imagery of death, pedophilia and rape should be condemned to such behaviour. Hence we have prisons for those types.

Let the employees know that the corporate computer is not their own private property and that the corporation does not tolerate the use of pornography within their company. Let them know that the company has the right to review usage of everyone's computers.

Not much of a question. Strict enforcement would be a must. It is not productive. They would not be doing their job. It would be costing me money.. Remember follow the money.

My company had complete control over what you could view! You could not even get a word with "sex" in it even if it was "sexual abuse" Workers had to get a special code put in their machines for certain words!!

Clearly no porn at work. People can't be looking at that when they are supposed to be working, the detriment to productivity is obvious. Also, female co-workers are likely to be offended when popping into your area while you are looking at biguns.com (props to Al Bundy). The real battle at my work is why I need access to www.mlb.com while working (it helps me concentrate).
