i am from south africa and would like to know why it classified as equal to all the extreme poverished countries in africa like ethiopia and sudan. south africa is actually a decent country with a stable economy and it is much better that other african countries.so where is the second world countries?

I remember Bobby Fischer (one of the greatest Chess Prodigies of the world) was arrested when he tried to leave Japan on an expired Passport. He was convicted of a felony in absentia (I think that is the word). My question(s) are this.
a) If you are convicted or have an arrest warrent for a misdemeanor and you apply for (or renew) a passort will they keep the passport?
b) If you are convicted or have an arrest warrent for a fellony and you apply for (or renew) a passort will they keep the passport?

The reason I ask this is because I heard lots of Americans leave the country to avoid prosecution and I wonder how they stay out of jail if their passports have expired and they cannot renew them. Yes, if they marry and get citizenship not a problem. but, what if their passport is about to expire. So, please answer the 2 questions for your 10 points. Thanks!

I went on a tour to Spain with my Spanish teacher. She bought all of us alcohol and we got drunk. Some of us were under 18 but I think the drinking age is 16. Also, I saw some pics she posed for in which two boys from another group are kissing her on the cheeks and she is grabbing her boob through her clothes. She then sent that pic and some other ones to my friend who is only 16. Has she committed a crime? Can she be fired? Is she a sexual predator?

tenant writes letter to landlord stating verbal discussion and terms of leaving premises landlord says ok but no witnesses or signatures tenant believes he's getting security back ..can landlord defend self in court when tenant sues for deposit given the letter tenant wrote to landlord and can landlord prove tenant broke lease did not pay rent.also tenant wants to sue for other obscure charges that are false inferances & subjective characteriazations

I was driving on freeway and passing this big truck. There was a stone shot out from the tires of this truck and cracked my windshield.

and refuse to learn the language but expect the American gov't and citizens to cater to their every whim. and then it also makes me mad when people of Hispanic or African-American descent r allowed to get a free ride to any college they want and all some of the want to do is have babies and complain how hard their life is. i'm white and i'm proud of it but b/c of that i was denied scholorships event hough i was in the top 10% of my class. I was accepted to Rice University but i didn't qualify for the scholorship i asked for b/c of my skin color. my granfather was from Guatemala and he moved here b/c he wanted a better life. he learned english in two months from listening to the radio andwhenever he went into a store where they only knew spanish he refused to speak it back b/c he believed that if you live in this country you better learn the language, the same as anybody else would do if they moved to mexico or spain. btw if this makes me a racist to some ppl, then fine.

If I never got arrested for a crime, can that show up on my background check. I know that doesn't make sense so I'll elaborate more. I was in one of those wrong places at the wrong time things. I was w/some girls that decided to steal a shirt. One girl put a shirt in my bag because her purse was too small. Since I didn't directly steal it and it was the girl, I just had to pay a 100.00 fine. I never got arrested or anything and that happened out of state. Will that show up if any of my jobs check in the future?

My little brother has a mental illness. When he was 17 he was accused aggravated sexual assault against another child that also had a severe mental illness. My brother is not competent enough to go through trial but is still locked up in a mental facility. I know that he has a strong case in defense but I need a lawyer that can represent him that is not court appointed. Please help

Since there is no random chance involved in RPS as both contestants are making a choice and their choice directly gives the result, is RPS considered a game of chance by legal definitions? Would wagering on RPS be considered gambling by legal definitions.

The divorce is not final...no custody agreements have been set....he was the custodial parent...she came to "visit" and took off with the baby across state lines...police were called...they can't help..she said she'd bring the baby back @ the end of the month....now she's saying she's not bringing her back...other than contacting the lawyer..what are our other options....she is military....we are a much more stable home for the baby and she knows it...she's just trying to be spiteful...

My ex quit his job 2 years ago and isn't in compliance with judge's order to provide insurance for the kids. Yet he gets a credit on child support for doing it. I now am providing the insurance and would like to recoup these costs as it isn't my legal responsibility.

My mother recently passed. In the will she left me the house and contents. She had it set up in a trust that my brother's friend drew up to protect me from taxes. My brother is exec. of estate and p.o.a.. It also shows he owns the trust. How can I get the house in my name since I'm living there and paying the mortgage?
