I sent a question about my daighter father passing away, i did not point out that this was a retirement fund that was giving to him through his old job and that he had never put anything into it. I was something the company gave. Should my daughter try and open the estate before other family does and have them fight us in court

My nursing job requires mandatory overtime, usually on a weekly basis. I want to continue to work without being punished at work for refusing to work extra hours. How can I legally do so? Are there any websites that address this topic? Short of taking the FMLA leave. I need to keep my job,but my child needs his mother too. Please give me any info you have on this subject. I work for a union organization if this helps.

Any advice out there? He's a subber--no lease. Haven't squoze a cent out of him yet. He's given us a 1k rent check twice--both bounced. (We have copies.) Both times, he was aware that his account was empty and wrote the check anyway. Once I get him out of my apartment (which is job one, as you can imagine), can I take him to civil court/claims court/press criminal charges in an effort to get my money back? Anybody know who I should approach first to make a report? Thanks all, and please don't laugh. I feel silly about it already...sheesh!

All the debate seems to center on the war, and on Americans who torture in Iraq and Guantanamo, when the important issues at home, such as poverty, education, health care, homelessness, and inequality are all ignored by the Republican dominated legislature. What has happened to our priorities??

There is a debate on the capital punishment. Some say that capital punishment should be there in a country criminl law. Other say capital punishment shold not be there in any country's law. Some countries practce such a punishment; be it under the aproval of the president or the prime minister what ever the top person of the country. There are countries who never practce capital punishment.

What is your position and why?

Thank You

Question: Do you think some polotical definition for when life sttarts can be reached? What age of fetus develop would be yours? Opinion: Feel overwhelming number of doctors are in no way intersted in terminating ( ) in late stage of development, but life of the 'life' mother should come first, and government regulations in this area complicates some of the hardest problems most will ever see. Hoping states are given this issue to weed out medical people just interested in money to be made after some common defition of when life starts can be reached.Don't know how to list this under survey. Ayone telling how to find that category would be helpful.

This is directed toward the group that says abortion is not killing because the fetus is not alive yet. If a female is 8 months pregnant with a baby she really wants and loves, and a person attacks her and causes her to lose her baby, is being tried for assault fair since the baby isn't really a life yet? I know this sounds like I am trying to be smart, but I have been wondering about the scenario for a long time and I just want input from the group I am curious about.

I have been on SSI since 1999 for mental reasons and the payee was ordered for 4 years till the first review was allowed...The payee could not be a family member because my family is crooked as hell and shifting around various scams with the Govt even though I live alone in a different town I have tried to both get a new payee and get it under my own control to get it out of the current payee's hands but this payee intentionally screws me over each time and we both know it but she is being sneaky and changing the scams as soon as I discover them....Is there any recourse I can take legally or should I just accept the fact that I'm screwed and deal with it??? I am a 33 year old male who is 80% blind and suffer from schizophrenia but it is maintiained without medication through various therapies and no physical doctor will write a reccomendation letter because the SSI was issued for mental health reasons...SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!!!!
