I live in Florida and wanted to know the maximum amount of money that you can sue someone for in Small Claims Court. Thanks!

The amount will vary by county. Look on your county court's website and it will tell you under Conciliation court or small claims......where I live the maximum is $7500.00, it really does vary between locations.

It may differ from one area to another. In Philadelphia, Pa., it used to be $5,000.00, but I'm not sure if that's changed.
