On Friday we had some bad thunder storms. My basement got flooded almost to my knees. I store stuff in the basement like my kid’s toys and winter clothes. I also had clothes down there to wash and every piece of clothing is moldy. I can not wash them fast enough and it just getting worst. Me and my husband cleaned out all the water after waiting 4 days for the landlord to call or come over , but the smell is so bad I used bleach and pine sol it still smells bad. My question is, is the landlord responsible for damage and what can I do to get the smell out. My son has bad asthma attacks and I don't want this to affect him.

My Dad has set up household in Thailand. He has remarried in Thailand, living there now for 10 years. He has neglected his debts in U.S. One of his debts is huge with the IRS. Who is responsible for payment of that IRS and other debts when he dies? It isnt me is it?

What do you guys think about the issue of church involvement in politics?

has anyone here faced a summary court martial ??
i am pending this charge in the army and i am wondering if anyone else hads gone through something like this. I have done alot of research and i know all of the punishemnts, I am beng charged a dwi and misuse of government property that exceeds $500.00 another key point is i that i have been in the militar for 5 years and these are my first offenses, would this help any during the trial?

ok in south carolina they set a bill which has been passed and will be final on the 21st of august that minors under 18 cannot be in the possestion of tobacco products before u couldnt buy them but could be in possestion now u cant at all and if u do get caught u will have to pay a fine of 25 dollars do comunity service or they can put a hold on ur license . its stupid what makes u think theyll stop just like weed is illegal right ? but why does half the world still smoke it this is another law that will need to be abolished because adolesants dont care if there gonna smoke let them so sum1 tell me y its so much of a problem i know its bad for ur health but this will just make teens rebel and do it more it doesnt make sence

In Az. A cop gave sworn testimony in the form of an affidavit to a superior court judge that I was caught on video tape leaving a casino with a stolen purse. There is no video of me leaving a casino with any purse much less a stolen purse. The police lied on his affidavit inorder to secure the search warrant of my home. WIll it be thrown out of court?

Ok if the US is against political killings, what, tell me, is the difference for locking a political "undesirable" (someone that might be a threat to gov't for whatever reason: protesting, civil unrest, anarchy) up in prison away for life? I mean isn't that like taking their life anyway so why not kill them?

I mean there have been killings in the past, like when FBI agent Lon Horiuchi shot Randy Weaver's wife in the face while she held their baby.

In Court right now, A restaurant owner is held up while in his car. The robber points a gun to his head (later, a pellet gun) and demands money. The owner has $2,015 (but is able to hide $2,000) -- the robber takes him inside restaurant but owner is able to lock robber out. Robber runs away. Owner calls 911, but then gets in car and tracks robber down 4 blocks away. He runs robber over and kills him.
