The house burnt down, they never mowed the grass and the mosquito's were terrible. Junk bus parked in yard full of trash. Rats invading. The county finally came out and cleaned up. I've been taking care of it ever since. The owner hasn't even given me a thanks. I did put up some fence and stopped taking care of the front half but they still wouldn't take care of the front half until this year.

My mother has been on kidney dialysis for a couple of years and gets SSI benefits. She got a small settlement ($2400) from a drug company becuase she was on a drug that causes kidney damage. She is on a kidney transplant list.

She called SSI and they told her that she would have to pay back a full month's benefits. Fine, no problem. She got a letter that they may cut off her Medicaid benefits because of this $2400. If they cut her off, she loses her kidney dialysys and will probably die from it.

They told her that she needs to provide reciepts and show how she spent the money. They will review it and go from there. Is there anything we can do? We really can't afford to pay a SSI lawyer.

She bought a car 1 1/2 years ago and I gave her money for that. Would a reciept showing that she paid me back suffice?

Went to a chiropractor for 2 months and its not helping me , my back is only getting worse. I've since quit going there. now im lost???What could this be? It hurts all the time and i can't hardly even bend over im still young!!!!The owner of the buisness van(WHICH HAS NO INSURANCE AND I ONLY HAD LIABILITY) that hit me wants me to send him all my bills and damages so far so he can settle but i do not want to be stuck with a messes up back and don't have any money to even get a MRI, WHAT SHOULD I DO HELP!!!!

I am starting an online t-shirt website and I am wondering if it is possible to copyright funny phrases on that I put on my t-shirts? I heard that this was not legally possible, but I saw some other t-shirt website claim that if anyone tried to copy their saying/slogans that they would get sued. I have copywritten the artwork that I did. If this is possible, how would I go about doing it? Also, if I write some phrase in a certain font, if I get the artwork copywritten, then can nobody else do that phrase in that particular font?

I was extrememly upset while writing the complaint, so yeah I used my share of foul words... I named him by first & last name, which I didnt think nothing of, And I found a newspaper photo of him in which he was "generously donating" money to a local chairty- I thought that would be amusing to add to the complaint.
He has now been threatening to sue over the complaint, but he has been threatening this for many months now. Personally I feel it's just a scare tactic to get me to remove the complaint ~ & it's not working. Instead I simply update the complaint with his latest threats & date of the call, which he calls me about a few days later & threatens with sueing again! Its really getting old... Why cant he just take it like a man or if he's that worried about it then why doesnt he finally attempt to make me a satisfied customer? I have yet to recieve a call from a lawyer, a subpoena, etc about it.
What can I do short of going through the long & costly process of suing HIM?

I've already posted flyers in locals stores & recited my experience on an online forum; the owner responded by harassing me & threatening to sue for defamination, even though whats I've said is true....I would love see this place be shut down. Can he lose his license over the harassment? Any serious advice & ideas appreciated...serious only please!

lets pretend that I knew a person, i'll call him my ex boyfriend/boyfriend - that is awaiting trial in a fed prison holdover and is looking at mult. counts of aggr. felonys and is going to get life + 25 yrs. I correspond through letters on a daily basis and have for 6 months. He is in seg 23 hrs a day since he got there. Do I have anything to worry about as far as what the content of his letters are saying? Sometimes he implicates me and several others in his iilegal doings, other times he talks of plans to break out and who I need to contact to get him out. other times he just talks about the food and books he is reading and how sorry he is to have been such a bad guy. I am not going to stop writing him because he has no support from anyone. Is his crazy talk going to get me in trouble or will the feds realize that he is just trying to survive by fantasizing ? over half of what he talks about never happened and the other half is our future he is planning...that can't happen.

The Prison system is over populated with these people . I have never heard of a person getting violent because they used it. I think it is the one remedy for several illnesses. More people use it than you think for a varity of reasons. Women use it for PMS thank God for weed.

"A" and "B" have a joint personal checking account to which they both having signing authority. "A" owes "B" $10,000 for employment services. "A" writes a letter stating they owe "B" the money and will make payment once they have paid their bills. "B" waits over 90 days for payment and receives nothing but excuses. "A" makes a deposit of $15,000 in the joint account. "B" withdraws exactly $10,000 from the joint account.

Can "A" go to the district attorney and file a criminal warrant on "B" for withdrawing the funds? And if so, where can I find case law to support this? OR if not, where can I find case law to support this?

PETA gets tax exemot status, yet they will instruct members to destroy property, and take the law into their own hands.
PETA also gives thousands of dollars that was donated to them, to domestic terrorsit orginazations like A.L.F , and E.L.F.

The F.B.I. classifies A.L.F and E.L.F. as terrorists ,for destroying private/public property, bomb threats , and attacks aginst U.S. citizens.

Me and my sons father went to court today to set up child support and vistiaton. The judge gave me sold physical placement and us 50/50 custody. what does this all mean? there is nothing in paper saying when he can and cant see our son. should i take him to court to get something set in paper about visiation? does this mean he can call when ever he wants and ask for our son and i have to let him see him? please help!
