The NY Times now has twice reveled to the people who would kill us all, the Top Secret methods we use to track and catch terrorist. The Government begged them to not print this information yet in their zeal to attack Bush (the real enemy) they used their first ammendment rights to tell the terrorists how we catch them.
Should the Editors of the NY Times be arrested for helping Al Queda escape detection?

Our prisons are over crowded as it is and I personally find it repulsive that they actually lock people up for smoking pot for years while a drunk gets an over nighter in the tank and moves on.

Is this allowed. And what can I do as a concerned citizen. In fact it is not only through discussion groups on the net but I also get personal telephone calls (I am a laywer) from people claiming that certain laws have changed when in fact I know as a fact they have not changed.

I find this to be very very concerning that the dutch government continually spreads false rumours about dutch laws that supposedly should have changed when those laws in fact have remained exactly the same.

This is going too far for any government I think.

I was banned from seeing the father of my son who has been a large part of my life for 26 yrs. Banned by the Professional Guardian court appointed a few months ago. My ex sustained severe brain injury to due to a fall from over consumption of alcohol that day. I was always by his side being his eyes, ears, and foot work. Really like his advocate, no one else stepped up to the plate to assist me for almost a year. The guardian takes over has him relocated. Our son and I were there for the transport stayed with him notice he was not fed or changed the whole entire day. The Depends he had on was dry all day into the evening. I emailed the guardian and she then decided to ban me from seeing Mike, my ex. Can this happen I have no money to hire an attorney, I am on SSD. I thought you can only be banned if you harm, abuse and interfere in the care of the patient. I believe the guardian is playing on my ignorance. It is hurting me not to see him and it has been 5 mo. since the ban was placed

al gore now says global warming is a fact! theres no "proof" man's made greenhouse gases thatve effected the ecosystem, casuing higher temps. the fact is in in the mid 1980s many of these same planetary scientists sd mans pollutions (which i agree we produce too much and we need regulating) is causing COLDER temps. that we were heading into a "mini ice age" if we didnt stop (the same things) were doing! their "proof" came from temp record variations showing how much colder our planet was. the 80s showed 2-5 degrees colder from +100yrs b4. pointing to an ice age. the storms hurricanes etc were worse, then ever! and then the "MEGA Snow Storms" of the early to mid 1990s HIT the eastern seaboard! EEEK, ITS HERE ITS HERE the ICEAGE is HERE!
the superfund in 1976* had nothing to do with greenhouse effects. it was to do with corp/ag & personal accountability for polluting the environment. corporations & their dumping chemicals, farmers insecticides, & families all polluted our water tables

Gun control laws only take guns away from all the law-abiding citizens, but the criminals don't obey those laws. All that does is make us defenseless victims. Responsible Adults should be allowed to carry guns in every place we DON'T want crime, including schools. Ever notice that everywhere that guns are banned, that's we seem to have the most shootings? That's because the bad people are smart enough to know where to go to find defenseless victims.

Why do these public officials run when getting involved. Mold in an apartment and they flat out ignore you and walk out. This camden county, New Jersey. The Board of health can test for mold but the representative said they do not? A local township official would not complete an ocupany inspection, he would not go in the crawl space and inpsect it? These officials won't do there job to make living conditions healthy for people to live in. Are they being paid off by the apartment complex mamagers/ownwers? Where can I go to get help?

If, in the state of Washington, both parents are arrested on--say hypothetically--interstate trafficing charges, would the state revoke parental rights, and make the children wards of the court? What about relatives? Do you know of any cases where the relatives were unfit to raise the children? Then what?

Seems we hear of child abductions almost daily and the Amber Alert system works overtime. Today I heard a story of a missing child from the UK, but it was a fun story and the boy was found sleeping in a cabinet in his house. Just curious if there is something amiss in our culture that allows for kids to be abducted.
