Is this allowed. And what can I do as a concerned citizen. In fact it is not only through discussion groups on the net but I also get personal telephone calls (I am a laywer) from people claiming that certain laws have changed when in fact I know as a fact they have not changed.

I find this to be very very concerning that the dutch government continually spreads false rumours about dutch laws that supposedly should have changed when those laws in fact have remained exactly the same.

This is going too far for any government I think.

The government should uphold the laws of the country it governs not spread lies about it.

You are posting on a site visited by people in the United States. We are not familiar with the political goings on in the Netherlands. If you could give us more information or link us to a site with more information, we might be able to comment.

You might find people familiar with the Netherlands in the Answers Germany or the UK.
