Legally this wrong. Morally this may be considered appropriate by some. Socially this is a reflection of not taking care of the poor.have a great day.

Any stealing should be frowned upon, but chances are judges would go light in this case.
Now if you said that you stole a car and knocked over a bank to feed your family, it would be bye bye time. Plus, do you really want to incur the wrath of Chuck Norris?!

It would be wrong, but no one would blame you.
But if you stole a loaf of bread to make a Croque Monsier Sandwhich and a Jack Daniels Bread Pudding, then you'd get your azz beat.

A Republican will show you how to grow wheat and make your own bread.
A Democrat will tax the bread company and give it to you so that you will need to come back to them every time you need a new loaf.

Seriously, it's only okay if you have no other option. In America, there's really no reason why anyone should have to stoop to theft for food. There are plenty of programs that will GIVE you food, even if you can't work.
