unfortunately, Philadelphia isnt the only place this is ocurring. but it made me think....can pregnancy and maternity care costs make up a good percentage of the major health care costs we absorb in order to care for the "others" instead of our own people?

what do you think??

57% of illegal immigrants in the United States are Mexican nationals, & 24% are from other Latin American countries. So that means 81% of illegal immigrants in the U.S. are Latin Americans. I'm speaking for myself here. I think he United States is superior to Mexico. I think America has better a human rights record, a better democracy, better values, more righteousness. I don't hate Mexicans or illegal immigrants. And I don't blame them for any of my porblems in life. But most illegal immigrants aren't assimialating into mainstream American society. There's a reason why Americans have to press 1 for Enlish.

is it really adding diversity to our country, culture and way of life when so many of the immigrants are coming from one culture?or are we becoming an extension of who they are. i went to the Bof A and all the posters up were in spanish as well as the cashiers.. i dont see the diversity.

I have noticed this more and more lately. People getting all defensive like "people aren't illegal." But according to the terminology used by the United States government, some people ARE illegal, and some people ARE aliens. It doesn't mean they are less of a person, it's just terminology....

I have a friend who we both think is a eligible to be a uk resident. Because she is financialy dependent on her siblings who are British citizens. Secondly, she's their only surviving relative back in her country. Can anyone please advice (legally)? Issues: Is she eligible and what is her best line of action in the Uk (for herself and her siblings)? Lawyers and those with experience please help out.

i have one of those jobs.
i am a landscaper and i have a business that employs about 35 people.
before i reaced a point where i was able to hire people to work for me i started out mowing lawns working in other peoples back yards with little more than a lawn mower and some hand tools.

we just want a livable wage...thats all!!
can't you pro's come up with a new argument?? preferably one that is true.

Just read this and found it appalling. There really is no such thing as assimilation anymore, is there. Move into a country, but don't adapt to it at all.

Can an immigrant (with dual citizenship) be considered patriotic for US, if he love US more than his birth country ? I'm curious because I have a friend that claim that. She is obsessed by American flag, US History and all facts about United States. What do you think ?

Okay, my brothrer wants to travel to Australia for 2 or 3 weeks. He has his original birth certificate, original passport from the Philippines (which has been renewed & expedited), Alien card and may I mention he's been living here over 15 years. I know he is lazy. When he went to the travel agent place and had renewed his passport, they accepted it, whatever, but she said he still need a visa. Isn't his renewed passport his visa? What is the new law now for illegal aliens traveling out of states?
