I'm okay with immigrants coming to Canada, but I feel that Muslims (for example) are less likely to adapt to our culture. When I was a child, we had Christmas concerts...I went to my nieces school for a "Holiday" Concert...so as to not offend anyone. In Toronto a Christmas tree was removed from the lobby by a judge because of some idiotic reason of not wanting to offend any religions. Meanwhile, in my city, there was a sheep slaughter at the mosque...That offended me even if it is part of the religion.

If you knew anything about the Muslim you would know that it is a peaceful religion and that many people blame religion/race for problems in their own country. And, the reason why Denmark has so many Muslims is because of their guest worker population that in many ways is exploited. If the "criminals" weren't there than your country's economy would completely crash. As for the LATINOS (Mexican is NOT a nationality) they do work in America that many Americans would never even dream of... Maybe people weren't closed minded and xenophobic, immigrants could have a chance to be pinned as something more than people who "bring violence and crime to the country"

mark b: I wasn't aware that "mexican" was a language. I also find it funny that someone that would hate that country would go live in that country....its like me saying ohhh i hate mozambique...let me go move there!. But yeah I think immigrants have the same issues that natives do, if your poor, have a low education and you live in a crowded city, chances are that you might end up committing crimes or being a leech to society. This happens to Mexicans, Chinese, African - Americans, Caucasians, etc etc. I think its great for a country for America to have a wave of both professional immigrants and low skilled immigrants to meet teh demands of our gigantic economy, unless your willing to see mc donalds close all over the place and pay thousands of dollars for someone to landscape your home. But yes immigrants do cause some level of instability in certain sectors but the influx of new people promotes growth for the nation.

I live in America. Our problem is with mexicans. They hate America and only come for what they can take. They refuse to learn the English language and demand every thing be translated to mexican. They are racist and have a hateful agenda of reconquering America for mexico. They are border criminals and nothing more. The entire western world is under assault and we will either stand up together or we will go down together. Good luck. Support the war.

It's all fine and dandy, but learn the national language (ENGLISH) for those who forgot! and adapt to our culture. We will not change our culture to suit you. And pay taxes. period. If you don't want to accomplish any of these then GET OUT AND STAY OUT!!

I think that generalizing any culture or peoples is only adding to any problems that may or may not exist.
