Thats the difference between us and extremists, we can take a joke. I know what you mean though, if it was the other way round they'd be hell to pay!

Jeez someone is a little paranoid. If you actually watched the show you would see that he in fact is very British. More to the point, his comedy is about perceptions and NOT about the actual faiths and cultures. For example on tonight's episode he had a couple who were going around different faith schools and trying to get their child in, dressing up and offending all sorts of different religions. But the difference is he wasnt taking the mick out of the religions (such as Christianity), just how some people perceive them which is undeniably true.
So before you go crying out your right-wing propaganda on how Britain is changing, why not consider your argument first. and i say this as a brit.

The TV show Father Ted consistently mocked the Catholic Church. Do you think there should also have been an outcry against that program?

Please can you all just give it a rest! I don't find Omid Djalilli particular funny no, but nor do I find Dad's Army, On The Buses, To The Manor Born, Little Britain or many other supposed comedies very funny either. You know what I do about those? I don't watch them. What I also don't do is use them for some thinly disguised bigoted attack.

He's not funny whoever he's talking about, nothing to do with the subject he chooses.
