I don't want a "common" solution.
I don't feel the need to negotiate with proponents for people who are here ILLEGALLY.
I just want our laws enforced....nothing more, nothing less.

I have no faith in the Democrats solving illegal immigration or anything else important. If they solve a problem they loose an issue. They would rather talk about it and beat it to death rather than solve a problem. The current congress has done nothing of consequence in the year they have been in power.
Solving illegal immigration simply means controlling the border.
Solving the problem of resident illegal aliens is a little tougher but it can also be done at a greater cost which has not been funded by Congress but it can be done.
The two problems are separate and distinct and I have yet to see a Democrat even define the distinction.

Wait a second...I am a republican, and I do more than just whine about illegal immigration. I'm a state police officer and I work in the ICE unit for my state. Don't sit there on your high democratic horse and think that all Republicans do is whine and do nothing about the problem..If I remember correctly it was the republican officials in my state that voted to start aggressive enforcement of the law, and deport them, not the dems....

Cut the crap, dude! The Dimocrat national party and all of the Dimocrat presidential candidate have sold out to la raza and totally support amnesty for all the 20 million illegal aliens in the USA. That is not a solution, dude, that is unconditional surrender to the illegal alien invasion, and that is unacceptable.
Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul, Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney all have excellent plans to deal with the illegal alien issue. Their plans agree on: securing our border with Mexico, building the border fence, verifying the legal status of workers, and a general policy of attrition through enforcement.
Attrition through enforcement is the policy that Americans want and deserve. We certainly don't deserve a Dimocrat president who will surrender to the illegal alien hordes who have invaded our country. The staggering social costs of amnesty will run into the trillions over a period of 10 years.

I intend to vote Republican regardless of the fact that I am against illegal anything. Democrats don't find solutions to anything. They just whine and form committees. Our current congress proves that.
Further, allow me to point out, that the plan Bush approved was worked out with none other than Democrat and lush Ted Kennedy. Democrats to the last one support making the illegals stand in line to get their citizenship papers without study or a tap on the hand for coming here illegally. 'Nuff said.

I vote for whomever I agree with on the issues that are important to me. There is not one candidate in the Dem party I agree with on the immigration issue. Plus, we anti-illegal are not whining, we know what the solution is and we see it working in the states and counties that are enforcing the laws already on the books.

Why are you fishing for votes for Democrats? If the promise of amnesty is going to get them those votes they drool over, I will be a *reluctant* Republican for now. I plan on going back to Independent after the primaries....
Amnesty did not work. A viable solution to allow people to break the law and get a pat on the head does not bode well with me.

I am against illegal immigration and I will vote for a candidate who comes out strongest against both it and amnesty and doing anything that makes it easier for illegals.
So far that doesn't sound like a democrat to me.

It does not matter who you vote for, they say what you want to hear. Our government wants illegals here, remember the democrats control the house and still they are not doing anything about illegals.
