They want someone to blame for their own social problems. Immigrants are an easy scapegoat.

We are not against immigration as a principle but what has disturbed so many people is the scale of the exodus from the Eastern and third world countries. Immigration can enrich a countries culture and population but as happened with the introduction of the grey squirrel eventually they became the majority and the indigenous population was dispersed as a result.
There have already been problems the mass influx of polish people has caused chaos in the lower paid roles that were traditionally taken by less well qualified locals. They work for less have no legal status and are often here illegally and so are not able to stand up for their rights and there is no control on their continued growth.
This also puts pressure on the NHS and other services to which they contribute nothing as they are working outside the structure of normal society.
Crime has increased as a result many areas see a huge increase in petty crime particularly where they are heavily represented.
To say that we are agains immigration is unfair we welcome those that come here and offer something in return a skill or bring some other attribute that helps and does not burden our own resourses.
I also take your point about stolen from the third world again as is seen here we did pay but I accept that we often paid well below market price. The problem is that ofter these payments were skimmed off by corrupt governments who use poverty and oppression as social control tools.
The silent majority in the UK may not remain so for too long and that could cause chaos.

PS you dont say if you are an immigrant if so it would be interesting to see what you feel about your own question.

I agree about the west having taken everything from the poor nations. And why should the West have a problem with immigrants coming to their country. During the reign of Queen Victoria and when UK had a massive colony, British Citizen lived in countries such as India, Hong kong and so on without having to through Immigration.
Mate the west are against because now the tables have turned on them

England has been overwhelmed by immigrants wishing to exploit the welfare system whilst refusing to work, learn English or integrate. Coupled with the outright hostility of some ethnic groups and the London bombings can you really blame us? You need to qualify your statements regarding the West looting the poor nations and resources stolen from the third world. What of the millions in aid to the third world from the West?

The simple answer to your question is that the Uk has not got the space to house any more immigrants.Should we carry on like we are now doing it would be against the interests of immigrants to live here. The Uk was built by hard work done by British people. We continue to send aid to the third world only for it to be stolen by corrupt leaders and governments. You must get your facts right before diving in with untrue statements like you have made.

We brought civilization to the poor nations. Looted? Dont make me laugh. If they didnt know they had it in the first place, how the fuk can it be looted from them?

If immigrants bring skills, money, and a willingness to integrate then fine. But if they just bring their ill relatives to take advantage of our superior health services, their multitude of brothers and sisters so they can claim as much benefit as possible from our social systems, and then proceed to undercut wages because they have no overheads due to happily living in sh1t conditions and ten people to a room, then No - its not alright at all. They should fuk off back home and stop trying to take the p1ss.

Of course, another way of looking at it is we are still raping and pillaging the third world. We take all the skilled workers, and leave it to rot with no educated people to build any infrastructure, and corrupt leaders (their OWN people - not westerners) taking all the aid money and buying fleets of cars built by us.

Not bothered mate - take either as your answer.

Your question has been answered to death, but it is worth making one more point re. alleged stolen resources from 'other lands'. It was the Capitalist system in the West that attributed a value/market in respect of gold/diamonds etc. and found a productive use for oil. Otherwise, they wouldn't have had an economic value, and, in more recent times, would have had no one to sell them to. It was also western technology that located and found ways of extracting and refining these resources.

School children might buy the left wing rhetoric from their teachers consistent with the implication behind your question, but most of the rest of us know differently, and are not so easily conned/made to feel guilty.

so your saying that the third world would have invented electricity. medical science among the mud huts and spears was well on its way before we arrived. Gandhi was about to send India's first rocket to the moon and no doubt the combustion engine had already been invented by a little guy from Afghanistan. (stole your resources) ya brainless fool, you'd still be dying at the average age of 35. drinking out of puddles and sh*tting in the same river you wash in if it wasn't for the west. you people and your endless whining about stolen resources make me sic. why dont you try to be a little greatfull that your children have the potential to be healthy and strong because of the west. your children are able to wach TV, enjoy computer games get education. actualy get to live passed the age of five!!! because of the west. we are againced mass uncontroled immigration because our infrastructure was designed for our!! population. not the worlds population. we are wise, we have a brain. thats why we are not a third world country.

This is the type of rubbish we are used to hearing from the loony left.
The lifestyle of the immigrants ancestors was greatly improved by the coming of the Europeans. Look at some of the news documentaries showing how some of them still live in poverty and shack type housing under their so called present day democratic governments. Before European intervention most of the third world lived like that.
Remember that 2 or 3 centuries ago before the industrial revolution many of the English peasants had a similar lifestyle. We worked hard dragging ourselves up by our boot straps to enjoy our present living standards.
The majority of the UKs immigrants don't want to do that. They want to jump the working hard stage, coming here from poverty, and leeching benefits from a system that exerts no controls on who gets what. You and I have our hard earned taxes dished out to them willy nilly by a labour government who sees them as potential supporters in it's quest for permanent power.
With regard to us hating immigrants coming here, there are the minority who come here to work and to integrate that are an asset to the UK.

The West is not against people coming to its countries because that is what made the West!
That's How the West was Done!

Every corner of the planet has its bigots, and of civilizations and political entities, the West is the most tolerant of immigrants, and the most intolerant of bigots!

Are you asking a question, or making a point?

It's obvious, isn't it? We really don't want to share what we have stolen! Easy answer. Sure, we've taken a lot of stuff from other countries, but, then again, you let us walk away with it all.

To be fair, the US and UK were built, yes, upon theft AND a lot of hard work, invention, innovation, perseverance, logic, and even more hard work. The picture is far more complex then you paint it to be.

Why would you want to come here, anyway? You'd be associating with people you believe to be thieves. Isn't it better to just stay home with your morally superior native bretheren?
