57% of illegal immigrants in the United States are Mexican nationals, & 24% are from other Latin American countries. So that means 81% of illegal immigrants in the U.S. are Latin Americans. I'm speaking for myself here. I think he United States is superior to Mexico. I think America has better a human rights record, a better democracy, better values, more righteousness. I don't hate Mexicans or illegal immigrants. And I don't blame them for any of my porblems in life. But most illegal immigrants aren't assimialating into mainstream American society. There's a reason why Americans have to press 1 for Enlish.

I don't get your question. Scared of the truth? The truth is out there and I think most of the people already know it.
The qustion you should be asking is: why are these people moving to America? what happens in their countries that they have to come here? what is so terrible that they have to make it illegally and can't apply or wait for a legal immigration?
Have you thought that they may don't have the money, skills, resources, education, time to apply legally?
And you say you think America is superior.
Well, if with "superior" you mean having a better quality of life (less violence, less hunger, less poverty, less human rights violations, less fear, etc.) you are right. Don't you think that THAT is exactly the reason they are moving here?
The problem is this: America is doing well now (and maybe since some decades ago). But the history is not only America.
America was populated by Native Americans before. They didn't have a 'country", but many different cultures. They didn't have immigration laws, neither asked the Europeans to show passports and visas. But the Europeans came here and killed most of them and called this land "their" land...
You were born in American and love your country. That's normal. Argentinians, Mexicans, Venezuelans, Iraquis, all love their countries. Their childhoods, their memories, their families and friends live there. Many were killed there, or robbed, or raped.
Open your mind. Peace with you.

The reason people are scared of the truth is for several reasons.
The first, for CEO's of the USA ...facing the truth, will cost them money.
The second, facing the truth will cost them (the Democrats) the control of our government ...which ultimately will cost them money.
The third which I mention as there is the NON AMERICAN fear of the the truth, is that if they realize the truth, the illegals that come here, won't make ANY MONEY.
So, it's about money, control and success for a limited few in the USA or for millions of NON AMERICANS, who should be OUT OF THE COUNTRY.
All of the money noted above, comes out of the pockets of the AMERICAN middle class.
Try this truth: WE ARE MAD AS HELL AND WE AREN'T GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

well I DO blame them for some of my problems. Not VERY many people have too much of a problem with this BUT- I have a 2yr old son by one illegal - we were together for 2 yrs - he got deported for a DUI
I have a baby on the way by another Illegal and he too will be deported for a domestic assult case.He is leaving me and my child alone.
Neither will EVER pay child support - BECAUSE THEY CANNOT BE TRACKED DOWN AND THE MEXICAN GOV'T WON'T HONOR THEIR RECIPROSITY AGREEMENT WITH THE US.
I BLAME THEM - for being pieces of garbage and immoral - they do not respect me at all - due simply to the fact that I am " Americana " " Americanas eres malas " ( bad people )
I say this - it may not be true in all cases but this is what I know-
I know a mexican guy who slept with one white girl got her pregnant - she had his daughter - he slept with her best friend got her pregnant and left her too.
This guy had gone to prison for sleeping with a minor and was supposed to be deported.
I know another mexican guy who clubs and cheats on his girlfriend of 5 yrs.She still stays with him.
I know of a guy who has a wife and 2 kids in Mexico and sleeps with whomever he can , here in Farmington Hills,MI.

I don't believe it's so much scared of the truth as I do believe it's an adversity to slamming a certain group of individuals. I myself have said the majority are from Mexico but I also don't villainize them as a whole.
