I have a friend who we both think is a eligible to be a uk resident. Because she is financialy dependent on her siblings who are British citizens. Secondly, she's their only surviving relative back in her country. Can anyone please advice (legally)? Issues: Is she eligible and what is her best line of action in the Uk (for herself and her siblings)? Lawyers and those with experience please help out.

You failed to say as to whether she was a minor or not.Should she be over 16 then she will have to go through the same rigourous vetting as everyone has to.The reasons stated will give her absolutly no right of abode in the UK.In fact if she has kids of her own and not working the situation would be impossible even as a tourist. The reasons given by you are purely hyperthetical and must apply to thousands of people around the world.

Why does she think she's eligible?

Does she have parents or grandparents with British citizenship? Does she have a needed skill or has she been offered a job in the UK with someone who is willing to sponsor her for a work permit/Visa?

Why does being financially dependent on a British citizen make you eligible for citizenship?! That is ludicrous! Anyone could claim that!!

Just sounds like another rip off scam to me. What do we owe her exactly? Perhaps her relatives should move back to their homeland and support her there?

Is she a minor child?

If she's an adult, it is much more complicated. She could try to come in on a settlement visa, but she would have to live with and rely for financial support on one of her siblings. Only after three years of continuous legal residence in the UK could she file for indefinite leave to remain.

she is not eligible.
1st; if she is eligible, uk government will have to provide equal treatment and services; that's why it's a burden to the govt and wouldn't want anything to do with her.

2nd; if she is under 16 then I suppose things might be a little easier to provide her with a visa; check the home office website for more info
