ive got 1 credit card two celphone contracts as well as an account with abouth a £1000 debts i can no longer work in the uk and i am returning home. i dont intend on ever coming back to the uk will they trace me back home

There are many political groups pro/agiasnt them, in many cases holding radical views on the subject.

The Watchdog, the Minuteman, the Border Angels from one side, and La Raza, La Voz the Aztlan,etc from the other.

But I wonder, what thinks the avarage American, about it?

Paradoxically, the USA has no official language (any imposition is regarded as fascist), so it's kinda shoking...a country regarded as liberal and humanist as France has very tough laws about the French language, impossing and forcing it in all its territoty, but this seems not to happen in the USA, and Spanish is growing faster and faster.

Is this good or bad? Is the average American fed up with this stuff?

What about the 15-20 millions of illegal immigrants that supposedly are in the country, should the be deported or would it represent an economic crisis?

What about the street gangs, the Latin Kings, Ñetas, Norteños, etc...what's the solution the average American thinks of?

What about daily interaction, are Latin Americans willing to integrate?

Obviously not to forget that one can´t generalize and each person is different so far and so on.

In other words, what's going on with Latins in the USA?

why would anybody want to o those jobs,,,and what makes them think that Americans can't do thise jobs,,,they are easy and brainless,,

We don't do those jobs becuase we can get better ones,,,but if we neede to do them we could do them,,,so why do illegals think they serve any purpose,,,besides thier own personal gain

I never understood this argument,,that we need illegals becuase we are to lazy,,,,,who needs who here,,,to me the illegals need us and we never needed them or anything at all

That is a very low rate of unemployment. In fact if I recall correctly, about 3% of the 4.5% are people that are not interested in having a job anyway. So it basically means that anyone that wants a job has one. I hear a lot of arguments that Americans loose jobs to illegal immigrants. But I am not seeing that reflected at all in the unemployment rates. Does anyone have an explanation for this discrepancy?

I was born in Panama and raised in Panama...My mother is American (Southern bell from TN) and my Dad Panamanian, I was registered at the U.S. embassy in Panama. So I have always had dual citizenship. Am I an Immigrant? I always wonder, cause when they ask me my race, I get confuse...I am Panamanian and I am also American. I speak both languages and all my life grew up with both cultures (thanksgiving, halloween, 4th of July, etc...)..I am proud of both cultures..What am I?

According to the Department of Labor Statistics own records, we add nearly 2 million citizens to the workforce each year from high schools and colleges.

According to their charts, (private sector, age 16 and up, not seasonally adjusted) we added nearly 18 million new jobs from 1992 until 2000... since 2000 we lost nearly 4 million, then added about 7 million back by the end of 2006 for a NET of about 3 million new jobs in 6 years.

During this same period from 2000 to the present they estimate that we have added 3 million illegal invaders per year, which would indicate that about 28 million people are without jobs THAT ARE BEING COUNTED.

How can we possibly have 4% unemployment?

What good is free speech if you have to candy coat things, like the truth about crime stats, the people that commit the most crimes, etc, etc.

I can't stand anything politically correct. It just watered down version of the truth.

i saw on the news today that 6 people were arrested for a plot to attack fort dix. then i saw that kids are crossing the border in texas, some illegle not all, to get an education at our expense. everybody wants to admit we have a problem with illegal immigration but nobody wants to do a damn thing about it. why??? are they afraid?, and if so afraid of waht? and one thought thats seems to slip everybodys mind, " illegal immigration doesnt always people from mexico" so somebody please tell me why its not a good time to give up on my country???

For some time now it seems that a certain group of people come to the united states to give birth to children who the are classified as citizens of the U.S. I say let's do away with that law and impliment one on which states that children born in this country with parents who are either Illegal or non citizens not be given citizenship automatically. Would this be better for our country and the economy then the we now have?

The protesters put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High School in California. Why? If they want the Mexican way of life, what are they doing here? If they don't want what the USA has to offer as indicated by the upside down flag of the USA, what are they doing here?

My ancestors came here legally. They went through all the steps to become naturalized citizens. They learned the language and adapted to the new country. The only reason there are so many more illegals here from Latin American countries is we share a common border.

I understand they want a better life than they had in their home country. That is the same reason my ancestors came. But there are limits on how fast this country can assimilate new people. That is why we have immigration laws. I fail to see much good coming from not enforcing the laws we have. Do we wait till we have full scale riots before we do something?
