There is a immigrant march going on in Chicago today. They are expecting about 400,000 immigrants to march/protest for immigrant rights? What do you think of this.

As infuriating as the amnesty rallies are, does anyone know of a plan outlining how we will actually round up twelve to fifteen million people? I would love to see current legislation enforced but am not sure how we would go about it? Any ideas? Any politicians with a plan not based on political rhetoric?

As Americans, when we stand in line for anything,
we expect others to respect the fact we shouldn't have
to tolerate people jumping to the front of the line.
The same applies to people who have waited for years
to come into our country legally, they and we
shouldn't have to tolerate those who pay a couple of
thousand dollars or less to be smuggled into our
country and then are given the benefits, jobs and
services provided to American citizens. How can you
justify this?

Why does Mexico and its Mexican citizens think they have a right to come to OUR country and fight for their (imagined ) rights? Maybe we Americans should go to Mexico and protest for OUR rights THERE. Who do they think they are to push their way into OUR country and take it over by infultration. They only come here for the free programs the free medical care because if they came here for "the work" like they say they do, I've got a revelation for them, there is alot more work to be done in Mexico than there is here in the U.S. After they have taken over America they will most likely run it just like they ran Mexico when they were there, why do some people not get it? Mexico takes advantage of America genourosity. They also use their children to get what they want in life. They endanger and risk their childerens lives just to get what their free programs here, but they are to lazy to start a movement in their own country to make their conditions better there.

Today is the perfect opportunity to round up illegals and deport them back to their home countries. Sadly, nothing will be done to enforce the current laws on the books today. Who should we hold accountable for this lack of direction/action?

Take them home with you when you have to leave .
Thats not the way to become a legal citizen .
Using the child as a lever to seek citizenship is wrong and won't work .
It's your choice , as parents .

ly want me to believe that you wouldn't run the border for a better life too? I would, in a heartbeat. Who in their right mind wouldn't? Lets see. On the other side of that line in the sand over there I can get work, medicine, security, my kids can have an education, but here I can't. WHat to do?!! You compassionless people make me sick. And don't give me any crap about staying and making it better. You inherited your country just like they did. You didn't make our country great, our forfathers did! And they were immigrants!

They have increased border patrol to 250 more guards, plus added helicopters, cameras, etc. and still haven't made a dent on illegal crossings at the border. It's like the old saying: "Every time you make a better mouse trap, the mice get smarter." Shouldn't we then consider supporting a guest worker program so they can come here for a specified amount of time, save their money, pay their fare share of taxes & then go home once their time is up?

NOT!!!! You know why I can say this? Because if there was an actual shortage of people to do the jobs then the cost of wages would go UP and not DOWN like it currently is doing!

What do you think the answer is to this problem. As a mexican-american I know what people have to do to get to the states and I also know why they do it, mexico is really poor.I personaly think that the u.s should help mexico so the country can in return make better paying jobs...still don't know why they don't do that.we can go to a country and setup a gov. But we can't help a country next door.

They're already abusing the U.S. bankrupting hospitals from their overuse.Burdoning the free clinics. On top of these things, the crime rates are drastic from these people along our borders. Now they're protesting again.I believe they are enemy combatants and should be treated as such.If they were from a mid-east country do you think more would be getting done?

My grandparents are immigrants so i cant bash them too much, but they did come here legally. the illegal immigrants who keep staging protests all over are pretty much saying "we came here illegally and uninvited, but we've been here awhile so you have to give us this and this and this." who are they to be making demands??? im getting tired of it and i have a much more negative view of immigrants since all of this "activism"...
