Unless you can show you have a way of supporting yourself very well, and have married a US citizen, you will NEVER get a green card. You cannot just buy one, thats the stupidest thing I have heard in a while. Oh sure you can buy a fake one, but to become a US citizen takes many years and a lot of money, way more that 3 or 4k.

Its not as easy as you think. IF they could just take a test or pay to enter the state legally, believe me they would. Many people die to get in the US. They have to apply for a VISA (not any kind of bank account, not meaning to sound smart but many people think its a credit card or something of that sort. ) and only a very few amount of people get selected. My grandma actually tried to get her VISA to come to the US for at least 15 years but never got it. I bet if they could pay someting it would be cheaper than a smuggler or if they could take a test they would rather take a test than risk their lives. A citizenship is not so hard because it is a test and their is only a small fee, but you have to have a VISA or some sort of permit to be in the US first.

ABSO - FRIGGIN' - LUTELY! THEY have been people who wrongly had toddlers in this united states of america understanding they have been right here illegally, so the only ones fault is mommie and daddy whilst the yankee born teenagers of unlawful immigrants get despatched packing with their offender mothers and dads. perhaps whilst they strengthen up and in the event that they arrive back they are going to have greater appreciate for the yankee criminal device and our regulations than their valueless mothers and dads did. perhaps they are going to certainly get excitement from being an American, no longer take it with none attention like amnesty and "paths to citizenship" make illegals do. additionally, why ought to criminals (they are ALL criminals, yet greater bonus criminals which could no longer end breaking the regulations) be allowed to leap the line? Even the unlawful ones shouldn't. the those that have filed for immigration legally - without BREAKING FEDERAL IMMIGRATION regulations - must be first. All that giving illegals a course to citizenship will do is inspire greater unlawful immigration. That final 2 amnesties have finished precisely that, whilst coming up a gaggle of Mexico dependable people legally able to vote - and administration - our political scene. think of how undesirable the politicians would be pandering after the illegals are granted amnesty. i think sick as I watch our united states of america being exceeded over to foreigners.

When it comes to ILLEGAL entry into the country the relevance of expense and difficulty might be compared to that of burglar tools to a second-story man.
The question then becomes "Should (We) be concerned about the budget problems of burglars and other outlaws?"
By the way - although perhaps technically accurate isn't the use of the word 'immigrant' with the word 'illegal' an insult to those who enter legally?

Money isn't the issue. It's the loaded bureacracy within the Immigration service that drive immigrants to use smugglers. (It takes at the very least 3 yrs just to obtain a visa.)

I've wondered that myself. We also do have a temporary worker program. I'm going to assume it's because there's a reason they would be rejected or it's easier to go below the wire than to go on the up and up. But I swear....your lies catch up to you.....maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....but they do. The right way isn't always the easiest way. In the long run....darn, wouldn't most of these guys wish they would have done it the right way to begin with? Pay now....pay later....life doesn't give free rides.

It is our quotas. So as not to overwhelm our schools, hospitals and taxpayers who pay for both, we have limits on how many immigrants we let in per year (except for a couple of exempt categories). We let in between 1 and 2 million immigrants legally every year, more from Mexico than from any other country. However, that is our limit. Instead, another 1+ million come illegally, the sort generally too poor to pay enough taxes to cover their children's childbirth or education. Our hospitals are closing and our children's schools are failing.
Our laws are to protect the country, services and economy we built, they are not to facilitate foreigners who want to make us pay for their families, by coming against our wishes and in numbers over our quotas.

Attorneys are more expensive than coyotes, and it takes longer to aply for entry than to bolt accross the boarder. And, not everyone who aplies is allowed in, so the legal path to residence is longer, more expensive, and less certain.
And, the fact is, America has granted illegal aliens amnesty and a fast-track to citizenship before, and shows every sign of doing it again. So the illegal path can even get you citizenship more cheaply and certainly than can the legal path (though it's typically a long time between amnesties).

I can't say.
I would venture to guess that it is an order of magnitude less difficult than it is for an American to get Mexican citizenship.

Because it is incredibly difficult to immigrate legally. It requires a bank account larger than the 3 or 4 grand you use for a coyote as well as a lot of documentation. Also, most people from rural areas are incredibly undereducated and may not even be able to read and write.
