As Americans, when we stand in line for anything,
we expect others to respect the fact we shouldn't have
to tolerate people jumping to the front of the line.
The same applies to people who have waited for years
to come into our country legally, they and we
shouldn't have to tolerate those who pay a couple of
thousand dollars or less to be smuggled into our
country and then are given the benefits, jobs and
services provided to American citizens. How can you
justify this?

Well, what do you suggest?

Are you like other knuckleheads on here who really think you can round-up 13 million illegals, process them and deport them? Do you know how many people that is?

More than the population of the states of Michigan AND Pennsylvania.

More that the population of Arizona, Arkansas and Colorado combined.

People who talk about deportation in our government are speaking to citizens who have no realization or concept of the numbers involved. It makes the dummies feel good. There is NO WAY they will be deported.

As a country, we have to come to grips that our leaders have ignored our borders for 50 years....not enough border guards, not enough enforcement...nobody gave a dam. The businesses were happy to have the cheap labor and everyone knows that governments and businesses are in league with each other.

The only way to get the problem under control is to first - fix the border problem...and NOT by "building fences"... that is NOT going to work (but, again, it makes the dummies feel better).. We need a complete and comprehenseive overhaul of the border patrol - on ALL borders. We need a complete overhaul of our immigration processes from the issuances of visas to the follow-up of those in our country on a visa. Then, once these things are in place, we need to increase our border patrol, have more checkpoints...and truly CHECK on people coming in...not just wave them through.

As for them "taking American jobs"... there are plenty of jobs out there for "Americans" - those that the illegals used to have. For instance, the states of Colorado and Nevada have had to use CONVICT labor from California to plant and reap their fields this year because the Mexicans didn't show up due to fear and all those "good old Americans"who live around those states just didn't want the jobs.

I think the increase in hate-speech and discrimination against anywone with an accent in our country is abominable....and it is fomented by our leaders which is shameful. If the dummies in our country would just shut up long enough to reason it out, they could be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

It seem ? doesn't have the whole story. I saw it in the group. P copied it. I understand your question here. Maybe some should listen more One thing, People should get the whole story first before they rant. Did they read your post at all? That should show there was more obviously there. Unless they are going to try to deny it. More of the innocence victim act. To many saw it. And the deletes copied before they were gone. We were watching with interest. Some don't have any idea want was all included here. Kind of funny in a way, You don't see some go that far to try to save their own face when it's a dirty. I agree on fear. It would have been just as easy for her to drop it to begin with. Or even after a few remarks post and comments. Just say I might have been a little mistaken. Calling others ruiners when it wasn't ruined just answer the question, emotional when who was showing all those emotions with their posts and comments? Twisters, and everything else. Some people don't know when to quit. The only gossip I expect are those connected to her What a story. I think some can't be fair when their highly bias toward what ever clique they are in. Oh the few good ones can. But some it is about well there with me more than if it's fair or not. That's pathetic. Some others may have a point there they see that enough and they think it's everyone connected. You almost understand why they say what they do. It's not though I think one are two are saying some people should just take some things over and over from some that were in the open and let others piss on them if they want, that's a molehill in their eyes. And no one should say anything or your being impolite and making a mountain out of it. Makes no sense at all. Who knows if they knows the whole story or not. Probably didn't bother to get it, but many of us do. And that's a keeper for the records. Several wanted to jump in. We seen enough to say stop Since I know some like yourself don't usually do stuff like this, maybe some should take the blinders off and ask why more than some did. And answer the question. LOL just thought about it, didn't she say that to the first one. Forgot her name offhand. T something I think--told her to answer the question. Wonder if that applies here too? Than she got upset that someone questioned things first before jumping in. Because they do like to know whats going on before they take a side, to be fair. Oh no, you shouldn't do that, Crazy I have no qualms about if someone wants to start trouble, I'll be glad to give it back. Some know what fair is, and some say they do but don't practice it. As I group what I am seeing on the whole right now and I know they are not going to like I am saying this. Nothing negative. Many seem to forgot what fair and right judgement means. That is what many are seeing on the outside looking in. It often isn't fair with some Do we have fault of course. So I guess we shouldn't hold them to any higher standards. Confuses me, one hand they want you too and on the other they don't. Which is it? Some don't waver, you know where they stand. Even if joking or replying to their Apostates in a certain manner. You still know you can get some honest fair treatment. Few as they maybe. Those are the only ones that matter. That's all I got to say. Hey look one changed their whole question ! I'll be darn. Change their whole tune. That's okay believe me it needed changing. Now you see them now you don't. Oh and calling all to stay away. A newbie too. Boy if that doesn't seem suspicious. I understand that, I do, on the same hand sometimes there should be an exception o the rule. Be fair . I think most of the post is about that. Can you do that? No one is trying to divide anyone. Don't even throw that out there. There just saying a little correction even from others isn't always a bad thing but well needed. Perhaps you can understand that newbie.

your right we should stand in line but unfortunately this is the real world and that isn't always the case.I have stood in line to obtain a scholarship to help pay for my school studies and to obtain a studen't loan only to be turned down based on the fact that my chose to only have me and not 11 kids. Now how can you justify that? Or the fact that I have stood in line to obtain a good job at a law firm only to be turned down because they figured I didn't have the experience enough to do the job correctly? Yet others whom I felt didn't go through the hard work i did, obtained what I wanted. Is it fair or am I bitter about it? no.And that's the way this is.Some people do enter this country the legal way and use the benefits they are entitled to.While others pay a thousand dollars to enter illegally and try to make it on their own,I believe its called survival. I know people who entered this country illegally and not once used any of the govermental services but instead worked hard and pushed their kids to get an education. While on the other hand i know others who entered legally and proudly have told me "oh why work when as long as i can keep having kids the government will take care of them". now justify that for me.

Amnesty was suggested for the immigrants who had applied through legal means. If an immigrant has been a productive member of society for a sustained period of time, he/she should be eligible for resident status, not citizenship.
The application for residency takes an average of two years to be ruled on (since 9/11, 5years or more is not uncommon). During that period an immigrant is not allowed to return to their country of origin. The problem with that is a work visa is only good for 6months. That being the case, it is impossible to be here legally once you apply for permanent residency.
If an immigrant follows this procedure, has paid taxes, maintained a residence, and not been convicted of a crime then they have become productive members of society and should be allowed amnesty to become permanent residents.
This would allow for easy identification of "illegals", as documents would be available to verify legal petitions for residency. Anyone who did not seek out legal means at that time would be avoiding them for specific reasons and could be treated as an insurgent.

Illegals respect the standing in line fact.. The thing is most of them would not have qualified for various reasons..

Most individuals that stand in line for legal immigration are qualified and have high skills, sufficient funds and education proof to show to immigration officials.

another fact is if returned home now, there is no way possible they would ever qualify for legal immigration after having illegally resided in USA...
