They are not American citizens, the are Mexican citizens. That sounds about as stupid as me sneaking in Mexico, and demanding to be a Federalie.

angel is right about the racism...but is wrong abbout the demand for rights.
Illegals are demanding all the rights of citizenship without going thru the process of becoming one.
Yet they in many areas are already getting many of the benefits and in most cases without paying for them or at least paying less than is fair.

Because in most States, they're receiving the benefits of citizenship already. They get access to health care, schooling, foodstamps, and social services for free. Its heaven here compared to where they came from and after living here so long under the radar, they feel entitled to citizenship and legality. If you dont like it, then make your voice heard otherwise the strain of importing poverty will eventually bankrupt this nation.

Because that's what we've created in this country - an entitlement mentality. People believe they are entitled to all sorts of things nowadays. Health care, housing, employment, a retirement plan, etc. all paid for by someone else. And the politicians love it because it gives them unlimited power.

i love it when the first thing that comes to mind for "illegal immigratation" are mexicans. there are other people coming to america.. staying longer than what their supposed to, getting a job, and so on and so forth. for instance, across my street, there is a couple from Czech Republic. They were here for vacation, next minute you know they have a house and jobs and they are raising a family. Its not all about the damn mexicans.

Because no one ever enforced the laws here before. Illegals are just that ILLEGAL....They should not have the right to demand anything. They need to become citizens just like anyone else.
