This is not a simple issue for the reason that we are in a land that used to belongs to Mexicans, Mexicans do not see it as an illegal action to cross the border because they still see this land as theirs. Not too long US used to pay Mexicans to come to this side and help. Most Mexicans that live in Mexico still have family that owns land here, so the wall is a new thing and remember it was the corrupt Mexican government that sold the land and not their people. US took advantage of the unsteady government to "buy" this land. And I am not going to say STEAL because some of you are getting offended.

did anyone catch the broadcast on MSNBC earlier about the cops at a police station(dont know where)getting sued because they could not speak the spanish language.the lawsuit was for $1 million.
if u know about this could u please inform me.i did not catch the whole story and the reason this suit came to be.any information please.

I have been working in the NHS legally for 2 years now, in a job where no local person applied for. I pay my taxes, I am not eligible for public funds and I work hard. I am here because the money is good and I think my kids will have better opportunities in life. The way I am treated at work and in the society makes me think why I am doing this job for which I am overqualified. I had never thought people would consider me so alien that they wouldnt share a seat with me in a bus or train. If I go back, I will make much less money but will get much more respect. Should I go back or stay here for the money and the kids?

I never understood that...but they have it....if you have no paper work...red flag...you jumped the border...if we sent them all back...i think then they would get the message...but politically...I think that would be a brick thrown through a window....i guess we ned someone to pick our crops...do you think thats why some are able to sray here?

I was looking at some pages on the net...about wine...vegtables...fruits and what i noticed is that with in one mile(ish) there are no porta potties...so my question is ...if you were working for dirt cheap labor...abused by society...and looked down upon....would you walk that mile to take a leak...or would you just go right there? They claim we are nazis for not giving them free food and free healt care, they say they are "under discrimination", In yet, they are the ones who when we walk down the street call us "gringos" even though WE ARE NOT WHITE , (well me), they call us yankees and they want to destroy the u.s.a by taking "back" he south west of the u.s.a. They belive in "aztlan" which they say, was originally settled by the aztecs. We all know this is FALSE since the aztecs were located in central Mexico, (present day mexico city). They call us nazis, but why? Are we baninng spanish in all the country? Are we going into latino's homes and killing them? NO. Infact, i think they are the racists for there rude comments. They say this is there land and they want it back. But we all know they dont want the land, they want our AMERICAN MADE cities, homes, schools, roads, medical offices, etc... I bet if we gave it back to them, (just the land) they wouldn't want it!

It is a hard process to become a citizen, but its not impossible. The media has played this all up for sympathies to illegals. I know plenty of LEGALS who are going about it the right way. I know whole families that are here from Columbia, Mexico, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India. Some of them had to wait over a year to even come here. But they did it. Some of them had to sell all they had for the costs. But they did it. When it was time for renewal of their visas, of course they have fear in their heart, but they don't try to get past the laws and do things wrong. They take time to get their paperwork together months before the visas expired. The illegals and their advocates are playing on sympathies. They don't just get told no all the time. They may get told no for a reason...like bad things on their records. So then they add to their criminal past and future by coming here illegally. And that is ok because they are poor or they are wanting work? Don't fall for that!
