It is a hard process to become a citizen, but its not impossible. The media has played this all up for sympathies to illegals. I know plenty of LEGALS who are going about it the right way. I know whole families that are here from Columbia, Mexico, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India. Some of them had to wait over a year to even come here. But they did it. Some of them had to sell all they had for the costs. But they did it. When it was time for renewal of their visas, of course they have fear in their heart, but they don't try to get past the laws and do things wrong. They take time to get their paperwork together months before the visas expired. The illegals and their advocates are playing on sympathies. They don't just get told no all the time. They may get told no for a reason...like bad things on their records. So then they add to their criminal past and future by coming here illegally. And that is ok because they are poor or they are wanting work? Don't fall for that!

Yeah, they are being fooled to believe illegal immigrants are to blame for all of our ills....
Its what you call a smokescreen; something designed to obscure, confuse, or mislead, from what the real problems in this country are, and its not illegal immigrants!....wake up America!

I don't fall that easily. I have the greatest respect for the ones who abide the laws of our country and come the right way. In fact the illegals should take a page from the legals books.

Yes its smoke and mirrors to obtain sympathy from gullible Americans.I have sponsored,people who work for me and the only thing that was long was the wait.My attorneys took care of all of it.Some of theses men have worked for my company for 15 years.They are assets to me and my business,but I would never hire any one that was illegal..At least it was easy for the men I sponsored,they had no criminal records and were /are of good character....Im sure that helped them a great deal in the process..
