You will see a lot of this going on because the pro ILLEGAL alien activists know they can sue anyone or any law or any government body and its employees over "discrimination." Gee, discriminating against the bad ones invading our country and destroying our beautiful culture with their culture of poverty. Wow, don't think that could happen. You see, the activists are having a ball doing this even though the cases will be tossed or lost because they are frivolous lawsuits to "scare" people and legislators. Like, "If you don't do what we (illegal mexican activists attorneys") tell you to do we will ruin you." Can you believe it?" Can you believe that young and old white people and citizens are puzzled as to what to do? Have you ever had someone invade your home and then refuse to leave and sue you because you invited the person in with the smell of your Steak Diane and now you want him out? He says he has taken up residence and that you are a liar. You took advantage of him and he is just trying to do the right thing. You do have to answer the complaint in court if the judge doesn't have the guts to dismiss it as frivolous. In the meantime, he stays in your house using your food and all you own. Murder anyone? And please don't bring up the R word, that word has no meaning anymore. Don't you realize that the racists are the invaders - look what they call us? And look at all the medical, education, financial, housing and PC respect we give them. Then, the activists get the least educated of the invaders to shout, wave their flag and sincerely call us horrible names. In our own country? Anyone listen to Spanish language TV or Radio? There are a couple dozen channels in Spanish in the LA area and around the country. They make fun of "Gringos." Oh the stupidity of it all, oh the humanity. Oh the using of poor, mostly kind and thoughtful people. Oh the racism of it all." And, now that the dreamed of taking the southwest without a shot fired is all but dead. The fence is being built, Border agents are coming down in droves with more hired and being hired. The border will be secured and a form of guest worker program will be instituted. Amnesty is no longer on the table or in the equasion. This makes the activists red hot angry because WE are causing them some disgrace. These are sad people, bad people, looking at their hopes and dreams of going to the Mexican legislature of California and making life hell for whitey. Doesn't that sound a bit like the Middle Eastern way of doing things?
You don't have to defend yourself against the R word. The Spaniards, the ones with the money in Mexico and their European roots are embarrassed by these people. Of course Mexico doesn't want them back, they lower the culture of Mexico too.
And, one of my best friends is ILLEGAL but he is one of the GOOD ones. He has been picked up and deported three times but always comes back. He doesn't file the paperwork he needs to despite my help. He is a carpenter and does great work. The work he did for me I purposely paid him more than a union carpenter would make because I don't use people. He is Mexican and has taught me a lot of espanol.
I am a former Democrat, a former ACLU member going back to the late 60s, but both are gone now from my life BECAUSE of the border issue. It's a no-brainer. I am registered independent.
Americans are wuss's and you people out there know who you are. I am Norwegian, so I am the same race as Mexicans.
Oh, sorry, I seemed to have gone on....

I am not a racist. I did not see the MSNBC thing, but i did see a report that hospitals are also REQUIRED to have translators or will get fined. I think it's a little overboard. They do have phone translators at the touch of a button available... this is America. I understand people from different countries will come to visit and it would be nice if they got sick... but... again, this is America.

My brother spent 20years in the Navy & retired in Florida. He went to work as a Vet. Affairs Officer in Polk County. He had to go to school for three months to learn Spanish. This was because the paper work he had to fill out for clients was in both English & Spanish. The same thing is happening here in New England , but here they are trying to get goverment papers in English, French, Spanish. What happened to everyone had to learn English to become a American citizen..

i herd about it. the Spanish speaking person said he couldn't understand. and the cop kinda was rough with him, because he felt the person was resisting arrest. and the Spanish person is now suing the cop because he didn't speak Spanish. i herd this a day or two ago. it's crazy they come here and expect all Americans to know there tong. real crazy. if he wins that mill, we all need to sue the gov for letting this happen. sounds lame Hugh.

I haven't heard about it, but I do know when I left Tennessee to move to Texas, the cops there were being made to learn Spanish if they wanted to keep their jobs.
I should have stated this might not be the case in all of Tennessee, but it is in the small cities outside of Knoxville.
