I would assume because...and now consider that I live in the heart of immigrant land (Texas) that 90+% of whom I see daily are FROM Mexico.
Not Argentina, not Paraguay, not Nicaragua.....they're from Mexico for the majority.
That's why there's a bias and generalization towards Mexicans being immigration capitalists....because Mexico's only economic weapon is having it's people leave and then make more money somewhere else to send money back to their family.
Any economist or foreign relations specialist that pays attention to this stuff will tell you the same thing.

Because Mexicans are the LARGEST number of illegal immigrants in the USA. Unless this changes the illigal immigrant issues will be mostly be directed towards the Mexicans.

They anticipate that you're speaking about mexicans because the majority are mexicans and are particularly publicized. do not hate society that makes you a socieist lol. that's a heated debate immediately and fairly some the individuals antagonistic to immigration come of as racist so like each and every human beings do they anticipate that whats up if this guy don't like immigration and is racist then so is the subsequent guy. do not take it to confusing it quite is how individuals are. anybody is entitled to their opinion. in simple terms smile and each and every thing will be ok

I live in Arizona, the Border Patrol says 99% of the illegals apprehended are Mexican the other 1% are other than Mexican. In AZ our illegal problem is from Mexicans.fact of life not racism.
Here are the states outlays in the following areas:
Education. Based on estimates of the illegal immigrant population in Arizona and documented costs of K-12 schooling, Arizonans spend approximately $820 million annually on education for illegal immigrant children and for their U.S.-born siblings.
Health Care. Uncom-pensated medical outlays for health care provided to the state’s illegal alien population is now estimated at about $400 million a year.
Incarceration. The cost of incarcerating illegal aliens in Arizona prisons and jails amounts to about $80 million a year (not including the monetary costs of the crimes that led to their incarceration).
The unauthorized immigrant population pays some state and local taxes that go toward offsetting these costs, but they do not come near to matching the expenses. The total of such payments might generously be estimated at $257 million per year.

I dont think its fair to see everyone says Mexicans- maybe some people, but not everyone. It may have something to do with the 12 million illegals that have crossed into the country from Mexico, and the majority of them being of hispanic ethnicity.

It is a majority rules issue, the single largest group of illegals are mexican so it just ends up framed in those terms. Of course some want to use that fact to make it a race issue, which is fine by me,I've been called much worse than a racist.

Well I don't, but most people do because the majority of our illegal immigrant population is Mexican in the USA.

I don't. I just call them "illegal immigrants" and don't specify any one country of origin. I just met an extremely nice man (on this forum) from Mexico who is preparing to immigrate LEGALLY to Canada. If he is an example of what most Mexicans are like, then I LOVE Mexicans. I love all people who respect the laws of the country they are trying to immigrate to. This man already came here for a week's visit and to seek employment and we met him in person and showed him a bit of our city and we had a very nice time and now his family and mine are becoming very good friends. He hopes to bring his wife and young daughter here for a "better life." I have full admiration for people like him who go to the time and trouble of immigrating LEGALLY! My family extend our hands to these people in order to help them get here LEGALLY in any way that we can. I have NO respect for anyone who enters a country ILLEGALLY!
