We should stop it for longer than that. We don't even screen these people for diseases properly. For example, TB was stomped out of our country a long time ago. Now, with all of the immigration taking place from places like Africa, it's back in this country again. Think about it: they take our jobs, live off of those that are paying taxes, get housing and education tax free for so many years, free health care etc...need I say more?

There should be regulations on people from the EU having say for example a certain skill or having a job lined up already.

I would never say stop immigration as I've worked in other countries myself but had a hell of a hard time getting the paperwork sorted!

I think for asylum seekers they should have to have a certain time to establish themselves in the UK and not be allowed benifits.

My boyfriend moved here from the USA last year on a 2year visa and is not allowed access to any public funding so I don't know why anyone else should!

Yes we should,i am just a normal British person but i am sick to death of people allowed into this country at the drop of a hat.Not only do we allow them to come in but we also allow them to preach hatred against us. YES and ill give you a good reason why...... the asian guy who runs the local shop was spitting mad this morning and i asked him what was wrong. he told me he is running 2 houses and he let 1 of them go to 2 kosovans .... he never got a penny rent from them for 6 months and went round to ask what the problem was and to tell them to pack up and leave. anyway the asian guy pushed past the kosovan and to his astonishment he found 50 illegal immigrants shacking up in his house. the immigrants are now being shipped back to kosovo. the asians argument was the scams go on as an immigrant gets a fake id to work as they did then rent somwhere out lo and behold makes a phone call asking all there mates to come over he said there was matressess all over the house he phoned the police straight the way. thats 50 less for us but its easy as this TUT!!

No more immigration until we can get a wall built, and round up all the illegal aliens who are here and deport them all, along with their anchor babies.
Then we can start fresh and start with complete control over who immigrates here, to protect this nation and normalize our economy.
During that time we can get a system in place to take care of employer checks on employees, get a database in place to monitor all social security numbers, get some of the homeless into the jobs illegal aliens are working, clear our schools of illegal alien kids, cut back on some of this out-of-control costs of education, get our hospitals back on their feet, clear our our jails and prisons of illegals so we don't have to pay more money to build more, stop printing every scrap of paper in a dozen languages, get the immigrants who are left here to learn ENGLISH,and take a breather from this destructive invasion of illegal aliens that is ruining our country.
