Immigration - September 2006

#1 I believe that immigration is being used by the Bush administration as a scapegoat for all the problems America is having; jobs lost; crime - nevermid the fact America is technically burning its money financing the failure that is Iraq.

#2 It has been estimated that by 2050, immigration and high minority birth rates that Whites will become either a minority or America will become a PLURALIST society.
Pluralist meaning America will become more equal in terms of the huge socio economic divide due to White dominance.

#3 WHITE NATIONALISTS (read: White supremacist racist Christians) fear immigration and are calling for a moratorium on Immigration altogether - WHICH WILL NEVER PASS - .
Seems to me that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

#4 White supremacist racists believe that an America not dominated by White rightwing Republican Christians won't be a "good country" anymore.

It might not be as racist an militaristic - perhaps that's why they fear change?

Illegals claim they have these "Human Rights" that allows them to stay in this country and demand amnesty in the pursuit of a better life. Human Rights are like the loch ness monster and bigfoot, they never did and never will exist. It is made up Leftist political BS....can anyone disagree?

What get's me is that all these immigrants that come to AMERICA to be AMERICAN , once they are AMERICANS They don't state that they are TRUE AMERICANS, They are African American, Mexican American, Hindi American -exc...Sounds like to me that you really don't want to be True AMERICANS. most would have to PAY penalties and would have to PAY taxes if they have to .

they obviosly want to fallow the law , even when they did not came legaly .

a regularization would not be done in a week . not a single rapist thief murderer and anyone similar would recieve this benefit .

there is a huge difference between a real criminal and someone who breaks the law because a law says he did .

people who had to come to America because of their need should be given the chance to PAY what they have to PAY and then be given the chance to be legal .

Some Americans where so busy whining back when Ex-President Clinton was president about how bad he was because he had an affair with one of his staff members and the whole country went nuts. These people (the same ones now whining about undocumented immigrants) wanted to impeach the President and all the attention was towards that meanwhile Clinton was trying to save his Precidency. Not paying attention to Osama B. Now, these same people (Grumpy old Man for ex.) are whining about undocumented immigrants taking their jobs. Meanwhile China is taking thousands of jobs away from people here in the U.S. Do you see a pattern towards the demise of this country because of the same whining people just having a different exuse to whine about everything meanwhile other states are taking advantage of this?

Not so "Patriotic" in my book.

And yes this is to all the antis whining all the time.

Hi, I am a mongolian. I have B1 visa and visited to the US for 3 times and returned legally. Because I never wanted to live in the US illegally. But now I would like to live in the US for my entire life with my wife and daugther. They don't have visas, though. My visa is still valid. Please advise me the best way to immigrate and live in the US! My wife and I are both holding a bachelor's degree. I am specially very talented with computer software and graphic design. My wife is an English teacher. Our daughter is now 5 years old. So what is the BEST WAY for us to live in the US?

i see this happening when it comes to muslims , hispanics chinesses and everyone which is not American . being that way has only expread hate towards Americans all over the world . a change in attitude is what America needs .

how do u think immigrants from all over the world think of Americans when they see how immigrants are treated and how some don't even apretiatte what us done for them ???

I keep hearing things like
"your ancestors were immigrants"
"You stole the land from the Indians"
There surely were no laws pertaining to who could and could not come here in the beginning.
What year was the first law passed and why?
The Indians most likely did not want us here but there were no laws to stop us.
When my ancestors came were they breaking any laws? Or were they just coming over on a ship and starting a new life?
Today the USA has rules that must be followed to come into this country legally and we let plenty of people in who are willing to follow the rules/laws.

A friend of mine wants to move over to the UK, she wants to work for the NHS as a Physicians Assistant, she is already working for her Bachelors Degree in America, but wants to study for her Masters Degree here in the UK and then work and love over here... what advice can I give her, to help her get over here and then stay here?
