most would have to PAY penalties and would have to PAY taxes if they have to .

they obviosly want to fallow the law , even when they did not came legaly .

a regularization would not be done in a week . not a single rapist thief murderer and anyone similar would recieve this benefit .

there is a huge difference between a real criminal and someone who breaks the law because a law says he did .

people who had to come to America because of their need should be given the chance to PAY what they have to PAY and then be given the chance to be legal .

Ok, I'm down for changing the law, anyone found entering the United States illegally is liable for 100k in fines and damages,
has to serve 90 days mandatory in jail, and at the end of that time, has to go back to the country they came from and is ineligible to apply for citizenship for 20 years, first offense.
If there's a second offense, automatic 10-year prison term in their home country. We don't have to tolerate illegal immigration,
and I hope that our legislators aren't tempted by lucrative propositions to 'bend' the laws on this. This one isn't about money, it's about principle, and having good policy.

Mexico's been lobbying HARD by any means they think possible to try and 'argue' their way into our country, rather than spending the time, effort, and energy necessary to fix their own country.
I say we maximize Mexico's opportunity to succeed in the area of domestic reforms by keeping them OUT of our country. Yes Mexico, they're our biggest offender on illegal immigration, ergo first order of business in dealing with the issue. But, Mexico's not alone, a lot of countries want to 'tap in' to the US economy,
and they'd LOVE to sneak 'under the fence' too, to sell drugs and do god knows what else. So, you do something really smart, like end ALL immigration for a few years, until everything settles out.
'Growth' is all good and fine, but what we've got now is 'stupid', and amounts to gross negligence on enforcement. That can be changed, though, if more people made it to the polls or started writing their representation on the issue.

Legal immigration 'si', illegal immigration 'no'. And, good controls on the legal immigration, or forget the whole thing.

Amnesty that is one funny word. Amnesty because you broke the law and entered illegally into the United States to work. No amnesty for them, Let them wait in line for their turn with the rest of the Legal immigrants. Amnesty because your government is trying to kill you because of your religious beliefs or because you do not pprove of it politics like in Cuba or like it used to be in Russia. Yes if they can prove everything they say. As long as they are not criminals. The judge should have been taken out and hung by the Nuts and Pisz on.

your ignorant, read this sentence again. "there is a huge difference between a real criminal and someone who breaks the law because a law says he did " does that make a lick of sense? no, come here legally or stay where you came from. NO AMNESTY!!!

I would advise you to research the consequences our country has to pay for people coming to this country and staying illegally, I think if you would educate yourself a little more with the facts your mind would change completely on the entire issue!!!

Do you think this could be fairly done? With document fraud at an all time high the Government will owe them money.

Well, there are too few people around here who agree with you, they don't want to broaden their perspective. Good luck trying to get them to budge!!!

They should be thrown out of the US.

Give them a DNA test.

If they are found in the US again.

Treat them as terrorist.
