how do u think immigrants from all over the world think of Americans when they see how immigrants are treated and how some don't even apretiatte what us done for them ???

would it be fair if all of America was judge upon a few xenophobics ???

i do not think it would be fair , so i ask those who love to be Americans and to be fair to others to continue to do so and to not let injustice to happen . help the immigrants and treat them whit respect atknowledging how valious they are for America .

No, forming opinion on the basis of few such people will be called Prejudice. If you see such a behavior at work place and business, you should report it to authorities and this is your responsibility. However this is a behavior manifest by only minority of Americans which, unfortunately, are mostly high school drop out and blue collar kind of people. Usually such classes are more prone to respond to religious or nationalistic rhetoric. Majority of Americans are decent, educated and reasonably fair people. On the flip side, it would not be fair for you to form such opinion about whole nation. Remember courts in this country are overturning such decision and actions. Human right organizations are fighting for immigrant rights. Majority of nation is criticizing govt for far phobia. I think still this a pretty fair and decent country. Things happen slowly here, but this is price you have to pay when you are in a democracy and fair judicial system. Here both good and bad people have rights and freedom of opinion.

This is actually a very complex question.

On the one hand, I have no problem with profiling young, Muslim males at the airports. None whatsoever.
History has documented a good reason for this position and if young, Muslim males are surprised at the extra attention they get when they board a plane - they're either naive or stupid or both.

As far as painting an entire race with the same brush because of a few radicals - someone had better prove to me that Islam is indeed a peaceful and tolerant religion, because I'm not convinced. The total lack of outrage from the Muslim communities over the murder and mayhem being perpetrated by the terrorists in the name of their god is unsettling at best - and we all know they are capable of outrage - remember the cartoons and death threats to all who dare question their beliefs??

An open request to all peace loving and tolerant Muslims: Where are you? Stand up and show me your true alliances.

As for intolerance to a race or ethic group simply because they're different in color or custom or language - that's just plain ignorance.

As Will Rogers once said - I don't make fun of anyone with an accent, because they can speak more languages than I can.

You want to say a few, With the Muslims the many don't do a thing a bout the few that give them the bad name ,,, they let them selves be used as human shields when we try to bring the bad guys to justice. In that case they are as bad because doing nothing is just as bad as being a participant.

Hispanics, a few million is not a few, they invade our country thinking they have a right to it,,,,,no matter if the Spanish used to live here 100+ years ago, it has been ours for far too long. They are an invading army and should be treated as such.

Chinese, other than they have a different style of government I'm unaware of anything with them.

Just like us the world forgets. They forget that they would be speaking German or Japanese if it weren't for us. They forget the billions of dollars in aid we send to impoverished countries. They forget that when disasters happen we are the first ones to give aid. When Saddam invaded Kuwait, do you think it would still be Kuwait if it weren't for us?

The world is ungrateful. It deserves what it gets with out us.

Plus you want to talk as if we have no allies. We have many allies. I was just talking about the ones who don't appreciate what we did for them.

it's all about intelligents, some are freakin' lazy and only have been schooled by the media... if we knew more about other cultures, we wouldn't create the identities that we do about other ppl. It's natural for a human brain to categorized items from what they have experience in their life (what they were taught, emotional memories, what they see, hear or read in the news, tv shows, etc). So if they have never put in the effort to explore beyond what is given to them on a daily basis... these are the kind of ignorant ppl you get. Don't worry, there are still alot of us who give a damn about others :)

Back where my parents came from, I'd say that people who view the US as such are the ignorant, under educated, politically motivated, nothing better to do but ***** and everything else kinda folks. Seriously. Yes we might have made a few mistakes, but how many people have we helped out? How many lives have we saved?

Americans don't hate Immigrants - get that straight!!!

It is ILLEGAL immigrants that are the problem. If any chinese or muslim or hispanic wanted to come to the USA then they should do it legally, instead of compounding the problem because you know what? Who pays for those illegal immigrants ???? Americans do!!!

Legal citizens of USA pay for illegal immigrants well-being and sadly we are getting taken advantage of and we have to stop it.

Furthermore - If you want to come into this country to be a citizen then you better damn know what being an American means and protecting our borders, and if you dont then you can get out!!!

I think Americans are more welcoming of immigrants than any other country, except possibly Canada.

It is only illegal immigrants we have a problem with, and we are not generalizing, there. Each one of them broke our laws.

Well it seems to me that you are judging all Americans by a select few. If the other country's don't like us because of what they see on television how can they expect us to accept them by what we see on television.
