i am english and my girlfriend is american can u tell me how i can go about doing this. has anyone done it or doing it at the mo??? can u help me please.
i also love america in general. love the people and the country.

If you come here legally then you are welcome to be here..i wish you all of the opportunity's my family has..and a long life with your girlfriend...But you aren't welcome here if you plan on coming here illegally..I welcome all immigrants to this country...not the ones who choose to stay here illegal...

I have been down this route so many times and i am 26 now.... i have been all over america on my own, and met someone, and the best route is to go there find a job (dont work there until you have been given rights) and they have to give you a green card and once you have been working there for one year.. they automatically give you residancy..
i live in england now and i have a visa for 10 years for the states
you can stay there for 3 months non visa im sure you know that... just take a little bit of cash to see you through a month or so which is not hard cos the dollor is so low.. and go to the american embassy.. if you do it here it will take forever and they will most likely refuse you

The fastest way would be to marry her. Otherwise, find an employer that would be willing to sponsor you for a greencard. Another option is through the visa lottery program.

You could apply for a Student VISA. Then Once you get here apply for permanent residency. I would suggest you contact the nearest US embassy. I'm sure they would be able to assist you somehow. If your GF's family is willing They may be able to offer up some type of sponsorship of you. Good Luck.

There are various immigration solicitors around which will charge you alot of money to get into the usa(if you really want to live there?).There are also many different kinds of visa`s you can apply for, one of them being the visa lottery programme which is pot luck.all else fails go to vegas and marry her.good luck

chill out or they will slap you down when you get there ..... and they will. You may LOVE america and americans but they don't like foreigners as a rule -- anything foreign - whether it be accents or anything. US State Department - -get it on the internet
