why do you think it's cool to be waving your own flag in our country? and what kind of schooling do you people have back in mexico? =)

To wanna ballon. If there are so many jobs & so much industrialization in Mexico, then why are so many Mexicans coming to America to make "themselves a better life"? This is what we are told all the time. Here in America, we have no problem with Mexicans waving their flag...as long as they're doing it in Mexico. We wouldn't think of coming to your country, marching on your capitol, waving our flag & demanding (in English) that we be given special treatment in your country just because we came illegally. As for Mexicans making the cars & stuff, don't you know when you're being taken advantage of & exploited? Those factories are there because they can pay Mexicans so much less, treat them how they please & get away with it. There are some ignorant people wherever you go. To the person who said we stole the land & it is all theirs anyway, W R O N G . Yep parts of it were yours before it belonged to America who won it fair & square in a war. Before it belonged to the spaniards, it belonged to various "indian" races. It was stolen from them too. So I suggest you get another argument. My ancesters were here waaaaay before yours as I am Cherokee. You don't hear me complaining about it being taken from me.

A mexican has the right to wave the flag of its country anywhere in the world just as a US citizen has the right to flag the US flag anywhere in the world, there is no difference. The problem is that many people with prejudices against mexicans get offended when they see mexicans waving their flag, beuacsue they think that the illegal mexicans in the US is all of Mexico, but they are very wrong. In mexico there are more than 100 million people who don't care about lioving in the US and don't care about what goes on in the US, they live their lives in a Mexico that they adore and they are proud of.
The scholarity levels in mexico I must say, are not the ideal, and this is why so many of those who don't even finish elementary are engrossing the lines of the illegal aliens in the US, but the mexicans in Mexico,actually have a pretty decent schooling level, you'd be surprised. It's wrong to establish extremes to things. Mexico is not the absolute poor backward country you'd like it to be, and the US are not either the perfect rich and advanced country you'd like it to be. There is poverty and ignorance in the US too, just as there is everywhere, plus the US is not the most advanced nation in the world, that something eveybody prefers to believe.

It our flag and we have ever right to wave our flag when we want to. We have great school in mexico. A six grader have more of a better math skill than a high school students. that why us mexicans are starting our own business.

Nicole A. are you by chance of Native American descent? If not you would then be an immigrant yourself. So what flag do you wave? Hmmmmmm or better yet what type of schooling are you receiving? Assuming, that you were of course unaware that you, yourself are likely the descendant of an immigrant. Ever celebrate any typical holidays like, St. Patrick's Day, Christmas, etc.? Do you know from what cultures these holidays derive from? Maybe you could use your energy in a positive manner? Do some research into your own background. Seems like you may be waving a flag of your own, and it's not a very pretty one, from here it looks like it spells out IGNORANCE.

**Their schooling is very likely interupted by their long working hours, laboring at making designer clothing for next to nothing pay, for spoiled American kids (know any?) who don't have a clue, and certainly don't value or appreciate the public education their getting, while dressed in those same designer clothes!

1Given the present configuration of the borders,waving the Mexican flag in the USA,as a symbol of irredentism and secessionist pretentions,is probably much of a federal crime and should be dealt with accordingly.If they do it to celebrate heritage,Mexican independence day,I think it's Ok,unless it degenerates into chicano movement-like gatherings.
2..there are very educated,high-skilled,honest people in Mexico.What on Earth do you know about the Mexican culture and why are you generalizating?

Hello,
I am not a Mexican. I take liberty to question you: What do you mean by Land of free - If I cannot hold my flag. For sure I know You(Americans), are so ignorant of rest of the world. Do you know anything more geography than your county. If you do, then how many American educated people can identify different locations on the earth.

Leaving all this, how many of you can do jobs that we do here, both brainy work and laborious work. Realize the contributions made by immigrants to this country.
One more thing, Unless you are not native American(Indian), even you /your ancestors came here from elsewhere. Know this and be shut. Thanks and peace.

If they have a mexican flag they should have an American flag with it. It shows respect. Whoever doesn't have an American flag with it should because the flag they have up isn't they place their in.

Hello Americana!!! Funny how you guys DEMAND that ENGLISH be spoken in your land, and you say Mexicans are ignorant because we don't speak your (your?) language, and you post this question in ENGLISH.....

FYI: Mexico is much more than the 20 million Mexican immigrants populating the USA...we're more than 110,000,000 Mexicans living in our country, and although things are quite rough sometimes, we still manage to be the world's 13th industrial power, and the 9th exporting power (LatinAmerica's 1st).

We, the ignorant, primitive Mexicans build your Fords, your Chryslers (your?) and your GM's (plus your Toyota's, BMW's and Hummers,baby).

And MANY of US (like our president elect, as well as many former presidents and secretaries) have Hardvard or Ivy-League Degrees (do you?)

YEs, poverty is an issue here, but, is it not the same in your "land of the free"?

The people who jump the fence are not poor! They pay thousands of dollars to a coyote to get them across!! They're just plain ignorants who seek to make easy money!!!

Many people here are hard working and live decent lives, as I do.
And, as you can see, some of us speak your (your?) language.

The problem with you is that you have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER of what lies outside your borders. So you take waving a foreign flag as an insult....how many American flags are waved worldwide? And the only ones that have a problem with your flag are Mideasterns. I for one, don't care.
