The majority of the answers I got were unbiased, and informative, but some seemed more like a counter....to a perceived attacked.....Do you think these "counter attackers" fall into the described category?

most of us?? He says he "believes in limited government and lowered taxes". "But on illegal immigration,i have beat up on home builders and the chamber of commerce." "I didn't take my oath of office to support big business." "On something like this, which is destroying our country,i take odds with MCain,i take odds with (Jeff) Flake," "And,i tell you.i find their actions almost treasonous." "Their failure to do their constitutional duty!" "Pearce doesn't believe that state and federal politicians have done their sworn oath to protect the nation from foreign invaders,in this case, the millions of people who cross our borders illegally." "If you want to STOP the illegal immigration, then you have got to go after the employers". He's going to try to gather enough signatures to get it on the ballot, since our DUMBOCRATIC governor vetoes anything to do with this!!! He believes such a measure would pass OVERWHELMINGLY in a statewide vote!!! ANd,i DO believe he is RIGHT!!!

Americans tend to stick together, especially in times of crisis. Because of constituent peoples of America that means that we generally stand side by side with just about all races that the human gene can muster. Mexico on the other hand, has a tradition or culture...if you will.....of taking care of it's own....color that is. So is it surprising that this attitude towards other races has etched its way in the minds of Mexico's citizens. Ignorance breeds ignorance. They are easy to spot, just look for someone that only tends to support people of either one particular race/color, or supports people of their same ethnicity.....typical racist behavior. When I say my heart is with Americans, I speak from a heart that is color blind!!!!!

that illegal immigrants are here for a better life than they had in mexico. it isn't their fault but circumstances made them cross illegally and if they are made it over here why not ley them stay. some are very good people looking for a better life.

I know someone who is here on a student visa which permits them to be employed by someone else for up to 20 hours a week. However I know that on many occaisons they not only work more hours, but are also self employed (again, a breach of their visa conditions). This in effect means that someone who IS allowed to do the same job/ who IS permitted to be self employed, is not receiving the protection of the law, and is perhaps suffering loss of income. Should I report the person who is breaching their visa conditions, and to who?

Help them educate there children and make higher education available to those who want it an help them rebuild there country but not have the american people pay for it. What do you think the illegal immigrantion issue would be today?

It is ours, not Mexico's, they have no rights to it. It is CA, TX, AZ, NV, NM, CO and UT.

U.S. American citizens, our families, live there.

8 USC Sec. 1325:

Section 1324a states: "Any person who knowingly hires/harbors/transports any illegal alien is guilty of a felony punishable by 10 years jail + $2000 fine per illegal alien + forfeiture of the vehicle or property used to commit the crime".
why don't the americans that are sick of all of this just do what the constitution allows us to do:
CITIZEN'S ARREST
?
We have the right to effect an arrest on ANY criminal, but it is usually used for felonies.
if there is a builder who has illegals working for him, invite him over and tie him up and haul him to the nearest police station.
THEY ARE LEGALLY BOUND TO PROCESS YOUR CITIZEN'S ARREST AS IF THEY ARRESTED THE CRIMINAL THEMSELVES!
WE can arrest illegals too and if local does not process the illegal, claiming jurisdictional problems, you can sue them for not upholding the laws of the land!
It is time for REAL action!!!
don't you guys think so? if we stop using our rights, the government will eliminate them!
what do you think?

I was born in Romania and therfore i'm a romanian citizen. Around 25 years ago (here it was a dictatorial regim ruled by Ceausescu) my father managed to reach US and asked for political asylum, and finaly years after he got his green card in the beggining and finaly the citizenship
My mother remain in Romania with me (i had around 2-3 years at that time) and because it was very hard for her to rise me alone in a proper way , she remaried 5 years after. Anyway now also my natural father has started a new family (maried with childrens) in US. I know that sometimes after the fall of comunism ('90 - '92) he made the papers for his mother (my grandmother) based on on the family reunion reason and therfore she is also established in US now.
Because since the last year i begin comunicate with him i ask him if it is possible to do the same for me and he told me that because the fact i'm a married man now i've becomed a second degree relative to him so the "family reunion" clause is unavilabe

I don't, but I do know that children in my area that do not speak English do not attend classes with children that do.They have a separate class for those children. And THEY are the ones that fall behind because the major focus of the class is to teach them English above all else.So my question is...If they were to tolerate them speaking another language and teach them basic cirriculum in their native language instead of trying to beat English into them, and slowly teach them English, wouldn't it be much more beneficial?
