If you have a mexican parent then it is your right to hold a mexican passport.
You can also hold an american passport at the same time. Regardless of which citizenship you attained first.
However in both cases under specific circumstances you can be stripped of your right. They are political reasons which a normal person does not need to concern themselves with, ie. espionage.
If you are not mexican then you need to move there and live there, go thru the paperwork ,etc. alot of time but while you do all of this your US citizenship is safe.
However if you hold a greencard then you need to be in the US once a year to prove your are still "active".

I replied each and all of the questions and don't remember it asking that. i think of that's tousled via fact even however we've continually counted all and sundry we've never had this style of huge inhabitants of unlawful alien immigrants. those illegals are being counted and effecting congressional limitations whilst they have no good to be represented.

Why give up your citizenship? They didn't, when they walked into america, why don't about 30 million americans just go to mexico, and sit down, and demand a free ride? LOL That'll be the day...AND we want our road signs in english, AND we want free healthcare, and full employment rights, etc etc etc. Oh, and government services, too, and we want everything that's available in the US, in gold-plate, please, and hurry it up, willya! LOL NOW! PRONTO! lol

No, not necessarily. If you wish, you can apply for dual citisenship, so you can be a legal resident of both countries. However, if you wish to relinquish your American citisenship, you can be a citisen of Mexico only.

Hey, If you can pass the strict guidelines Mexico has for immigration then go for it. I wish the US had rules as harsh as theirs.
