New Hampshire doesn't have a sales or income tax. I think we are the only state in the country. Alaska may not!

I live 35 min from Boston, 45 minutes to the Atlantic, 30 minutes to the lakes, one is the largest lake in the US contained inside a border of a state. Home of Golden Pond, which isn't the real name for Squam lake! Forty five minutes to the White Mountains and 3 hour drive to Montreal! It does get cold though!

Northern Alabama is very pretty and affordable along with one of the lowest tax rates in the country.
Here are the states with no income tax:
Alaska
Florida -
Nevada
New Hampshire -
South Dakota
Tennessee - does have tax on interest and dividends
Texas
Washington
Wyoming

I live in Florida, we are I believe #9 in lowest taxes, but the insurance rates will knock your sock off.

Wyoming. No state taxes. Low cost of living. So many jobs that they cannot fill them all. 9th largest state, the least populated state, but don't tell anyone about that. We like no one living here. *smiles*
