It must not be too difficult. We have large communities of Canadian retirees all over Florida. Of course they go home during the summer months. Come on down, the weather is great.

Stay home. From the way Bush is acting, It wont be long before he starts trying To push congress into enacting legislation that will completely dissolve the borders between the United States, Canada, and Mexico anyway. Then all you will have to do is just move where you want. Oh, yea by the way, I hear there are some really nice homes in California that you can move into rent free, No electricity to pay, make the owners of the house pay for your healthcare and your food. (Hell, the mexicans do it every day, why not Canadians)

Sure you can do it without any of that "stuff". When you do though, may I make a suggestion. When you hit U.S. soil, keep walking south until you reach Panama! What the U.S. doesn't need is another foreigner, Canadian or otherwise, who is not willing to obey the laws of our great country. Better yet, stay where you are and all of us will send you postcards from all over our country with salutations written on the back saying..."having fun, wish you were here".

Well I find it ironic that you would love to move to the USA and enjoy the year round warmth along with the Hurricanes and Tornadoes and not to mention you will be arriving just in time for Marshall Law when Bush changes the Constitution and Soldiers will be on every street corner.Good luck

Hi. Your chances are better if you become gainfully & legally employed in an occupation that is "needed" in the U.S. or uniquely Canadian ( i.e., French-Canadian working for a French-Canadian business in the U.S.) Your U.S. proposed employer sponsors you to come to the U.S.

P.S. The events of 9/11 changed the world. Whatever you do, I suggest you not lie on the paperwork. Tell the truth and don't cut corners.

Yes you can come because,it is cold in Canada.I am not quite sure you have to obtain a visa because,30 years ago my Canadian friend did not need a visa in U.S. I urge you to find out fro the U.S. embassy in Canada and find out.Good luck I live in the warmer State I can understand why.

There is no legal way these days "without any of that stuff".
INS wants you to marry a US citizens for papers. The law is so stupid, it encourages FRAUD. The people who don't like fraud are known as illegals, and the criminals who marry for papers-as legals!
I know tons of people who've lied to INS and they all have Green Cards!

Sorry, but to come here, you have to follow the rules. If I wanted to come to Canada, I would have to apply for a visa, too.

"Talk to the mexican government" lmao I like that one...

Get a work visa or talk to the department of moving into this country (i dont know their real name lol) about it.

It makes sense to get a work visa because your going to have to get a job here anyways...
