Just curious as an American citizen. What were some of your stereotypes of the USA and/or Americans before you came here? Were the stereotypes very accurate, somewhat accurate, not accurate at all? Thoughts on the US since coming here?

The Executive branch is the branch responible for ENFORCING the laws.
why don't we get a bunch of people all over the country to file, in every court in the land, lawsuits to force the government (on ALL levels) to enforc the law!
Local police, even state police refuse, by and large, to take part in holding illegals. Maybe it should be standard procedure, along with miranda warnings (who needs that now? haven't we ALL heard that about a million time on tv and movies?), to ask for proof of citizenship or legal status!
Everytime an illegal is arrested (and they are at a much higher rate than ANY OTHER GROUP!)and a judge lets one walk, that judge needs to be sued for deriliction of duty!
THIS ELECTION, VOTE OUT ALL THOSE PRO CRIMINAL POLITICIANS AND REPLACE WITH LAW ABIDING PEOPLE!

They call us american cowboys, sinners and the sort. We were born in this country we know nothing any different. If we were born in a country with bombs exploding outside our windows we might be different. Yes there are some mean people that do terrible things in our country but these people are world wide and to single our country out is just lack of knowledge of how wonderful it is to live in a free country and to be free! I don't hate people because of where they come from but I do dislike jealousy and that's what I think allot of the problem is.

The legal immigrants take the time and pay the fees and put up with a lot of difficulty because they realized that the ONLY to have a better life is to not start out as a criminal.
Now many people lump legals in with illegals.
If I were to ever not get a job because of backlash due to another's actions, I would be furious!
But It seems that the marches have legals marching beside their criminal countrymen.
Does that make ANY sense?

What would happen, if our government took all of the prisoners in our country, taught them spanish, gave them false papers and snuck them into Mexico so they could have a better life?
we could close up all the prisons!
every time a criminal is convicted, we ship him or her south!
think the Mexican gov't would get the picture?
I think we make a 10 yr. test run

Illegal aliens come to this country for many reasons, but as a former welfare worker, I have interviewed lterally thousands who came here soley to try to get welfare. They did not get it, as it is illegal to give them welfare.
Did you know that MOST of them are able to PAY coyotes (people who sneak them across).
Many married male illegals hook up and get a woman preg, use a false name and burden our system by having an illegitimate child who then recieves AfCD (Aid for Dependant Children) for 18 yrs?
did you know that illegals use emergency rooms for nearly every type of minor medical complaint and never pay and cannot be collected on because of false names given?
did you know that illegals have more auto accidents? without being insured?
or licensed?
If you knew, would you still supposrt these criminals?

Is it job loss? Language issues;English only or? Is it destruction of our Health Care/Social Welfare system? Is it overcrowding in general; too many people, not enough goods and sevices? Is it the burden to our education systems? Is it the destruction of our USA culture by the radical element of these Illegal/legal cultures (la Raza, Mecha)?
What is the most pressing reason to stop or encourage this in your opinion.

I've pondered this question for a while and heard politicians points on this topic as well as fanatics for each side now i want to hear regular people's opinions. Is there nothing we can do about the illegal population "we're here to stay"? Should we close the borders and ship everyone back? I mean really folks ...Am I the only one who was fuming when everywhere I went for the last 10 years, there were large families with squaling brats, hablaing in public like this was Mexico? When the school districts in our cities went banko cuz they were trying to teach ethnic minority children in their own languages (mostly Spanish), when my anglo gardener couldn't do that kind of work anymore cuz he had been undercut by illegals doing the same work for much less?, when our prisons became full of (mostly Hispanic) illegal immigrant felons who were raping, robbing and murdering not only each other but US citizens and dealing drugs on our streets? Crippling our hospital and health care sytem by demanding treatment and not being able to pay? These things and several others I was aware of a long time ago and was very concerned. No one else seemed to care. Oh, don't be such a fussy, old man they told me. I think this has been brewing for a long time. Time to straighten it out.

Why is it that 10 million illegal immigrants in the US vote in Mexico's election? They obviously dont want to be in Mexico, so why in the heck would Mexico let them vote? Makes no sence to me... Why WOULD you vote in a country that you dont want to be part of.... ? and no one give me that junk about their trying to better their lives here..... if they want to make a difference, stay in Mexico and MAKE a difference, get into politics.... Mexico may be a pour country, but there is alot of money to be made there.
