I love Canada, but its all I know really.
Its a nice country.
Clean,beautiful,nice people, free health care.
I would imagine its cheaper to live here too.
It lacks national pride though, and a more indepth history, considering they've destroyed most of the native american culture and cut off funding to the reservations, any non-caucasion history is pretty much unknown to the history books. But this isnt just in Canada, its everywhere.

I have lived in multiple cities in both countries. I like the UK because it's close to Europe, many things to see & do if you like history and travelling. Wages also tend to be a bit higher, and the climate - in general - is milder. It's very easy to find a job in Britain. On the downside it's more expenseive overall (even considering how much you make) so your standard of living is usually a bit lower. I like Canada because things are cheaper, and you always meet tons of people from all over the world, no matter if you live in small towns or big cities (in the UK it's mostly only in large cities you meet ex-pats). It's a bit harder to find a job in Canada on average, but when you do the standard of living is higher. While there is less history, there is more nature and parks. Climate is harsher across most of the country (unless you like skiiing) though.
In short you can't go too wrong choosing either country to live in. Depends what you want...

I have never been to Canada but in the UK you are taxed SO HIGH on everything. petrol is the most expensive in the world, it is an overcrowded island, everyone is bad tempered because they are all so stressed.
Being part of Europe is the worst thing that has ever happened and it is now flooded with immigrants who claim welfare that the locals cant get. So tensions are high and people are being murdered, gangs of Asians roam the streets and deal drugs. The situation is so out of control that the police look the other way as they cant police the drug dealers.
Soddam and Gomorrah would be better places to live than the UK.

Canada is full of wealth and is a rising country. The UK is like an old warrior, tired, broke and on it's last legs. The socialized medicine and other programs are draining the last of the resources out of the country. At least Canada has mineral deposits and industry to sustain it. Great Britain has run down factories and a labor force second only to France in low productivity.

I will have to go with Canada, although I do have a bias. England is a wonderful country as well.
However Canada is rich in resource which is resulting in a currently booming economy. There is an abundance of green space to indulge you adventurous side. And the cities are clean and the people are friendly.

I've lived in both countries, and they both have much to recommend them.
Canada is cheaper to live, less crowded, less polluted has great educational opportunities and a much better healthcare system.
On the down side the climate it extreme compared to the UK (at least in the Eastern half of the country)

Canada, its much more affordable. The standard of living in UK is quite high. Any part of Europe is very expensive, much more than USA and Canada.....Good luck to you!

Go with Canada. Canada is the #1 oil supplier to the US, so if the price of oil stays high then the future is very bright in Canada.
