Americans tend to stick together, especially in times of crisis. Because of constituent peoples of America that means that we generally stand side by side with just about all races that the human gene can muster. Mexico on the other hand, has a tradition or culture...if you will.....of taking care of it's own....color that is. So is it surprising that this attitude towards other races has etched its way in the minds of Mexico's citizens. Ignorance breeds ignorance. They are easy to spot, just look for someone that only tends to support people of either one particular race/color, or supports people of their same ethnicity.....typical racist behavior. When I say my heart is with Americans, I speak from a heart that is color blind!!!!!

I think you should get off of your soap box. This is a place to ask questions, not write sermons.

RACISM IS A HUMAN TRAIT DUMBASS, I work with thousands of people from ALL races, while each of us has our own traditions and belief foundations we can set aside all these differences and come together as Americans and fight for your right to have this discussion!! Each of us is admittedly racist against some form of human trait whether it be race, sexual preference, religious beliefs or plain old stupidity. Tell me that you are completely unbiased and I will call you a liar. Racism is born from ignorance which can be found in any person, it can be found right here in this answer but at least it's honest. I see traditional and racial bonding everyday. Is it wrong to "take care of your own"? Is this racism? As in any other endeavor, group or organization it most certainly can be but just because a group sticks together does not make them racist, if this was true then we all belong to the largest racist organization in the world. AMERICA

YES of course Racism is a Mexican trait.......It's a Human trait a learned and even natural human condition. There's not a single human on the face of this planet who isn't racist in some way or another. I totally agree with Savage and I totally get where you're going with this question. The point.....(correct me if I'm wrong)..............Protecting the welfare of the Pack does not have anything to do with Race. Did I catch your drift? This is about loyalty to the American Civilization, not about Race. America is a formed "Pack" of humans defending a lifestyle and belief system. When we stop defending the "Pack" we jeopardize everything and everyone. I got your back man! We're Americans and that's all. Color Blind...... Ya me too!

Racism is everywhere. There is PLENTY of racism toward a white person. If a white person wants to start a club or organization for others of HIS culture he is called a racist, yet people of other races can do it and it is called embracing ones race or culture. There IS a double standard applied to white people. This website will explain it more and it is very TRUE:

http://www.stormfront.org/whitenat/racism.htm

But when white people or caucasians speak out about it they are accused of being racist, how is that fair?

The whole Mexican immigration policy is racist, you can't own land unless your Mexican, you cannot enter, or try to become a citizen unless you have money at least 40 thousand so you can support your self and you have to have a job first. if your illegal and your caught, your a felon and put in jail, with a prison sentence, then deported. Mexicans get the best jobs over foreigners, if you get injured and need care you have to pay first. Then when our government tried to make illegals felons, the Mexican activists and the Mexicans call us racists. The Mexican government is very racists and so are their people.

Racism? You find that on Yahoo Answers every day ... from the illegals and illegal supporters .... if you don't agree with an open border policy, you're a racist ... if you take exception to people brandishing a flag above our own ... you're a racist .... are we "whities" allowed to be against ANYTHING without being called racist?? I DON'T want my country being invaded by ANY group or nationality ... does that make me a racist? You are right ... the only racists I have seen in this whole debate has come from illegals or illegal supporters ...

Hispanics are some of the worst racists and bigots on the planet. What cracks me up the most is that there are people like Chulapanama and Banana Bean, that call people racists and turncoats, and on the same post call you a ******. They are so dumb they can't even see their own bigotry. But don't tell them that, because that would be racist. LOL

Racism happens in every culture - look at the former Yugoslavia if you don't believe me. Heck, look at Iraq, for that matter.

In America, racism has occurred since the first Europeans set foot on the North American continent. Ask any Indian about that.

If you are talking about the current debates in Congress regarding immigration, just look at the mid-1800's and the debates at that time about Chinese and Irish immigrants (you know - the ones who built the Transcontinental Railroad).

Racism is everywhere it's not just a Mexican trait. There are other Latinos who hate their own culture,Ortegamaricón is a prime example of this type of person. But going back to Mexico, I was disturbed to discover the way Afro-Mexicans are treated in their own country.
