Dream on .... but I do think that if a few million Americans just plonked themselves down, started to wave American flags and demanded free health care and other goodies, the Mexican authorities would have to sit up and take notice ... I mean, would they deport all the illegal Americans? Can you imagine the response that would get? They deport "illegal Americans", we don't deport illegal Mexicans ... I really do think that an orderly, or not so orderly, march across the border in the other direction by millions of Americans to invade Mexico would be the answer ... considering our administration only does what they're forced to do by the outcry of ordinary American citizens for fear of losing votes ...

Americans moving to mexico would benefit the country immensly. Just look at what happened in Canada when so many people fled out of the US to avoid the draft for Vietnam. Highly educated, entreprenurial Americans could develop Mexico into a productive society. If enough money was invested into Mexico (wouldn't take much since the exchange rate is 10 to 1) agriculturally they might rival California. By the way, there are so many illegal immigrants due to the fact that over the years it has become increasingly difficult to gain citizenship in this country. It's not like going down to the DMV filling out a one page application and paying the 20 bucks. It can take a decade to be approved for citizenship. It wouldn't be a problem if we needed the increased labor force. But since companies look to make more profit by sending jobs overseas (high quality, low wages, higher production) it leaves a lot of people struggling. They don't take jobs nobody wants, they take what they can find. Skin color and social status have no bearing on good or bad in a person. Lastly, since I took an oath to support and defend the constitution (even during a war I think is bull) and the Statue of Liberty still stands-you can go **** yourself!

What makes you think the Mexicans who move here are receiving a "free ride?"
Do you want to live in fear every day? Do you want your children who have studied hard in school be told they can't go to college? Do you want to have to move in the middle of the night every three or four months?
This happens to the Mexicans who are here legally. They still move here because they can find employment at a much higher wage than they can in their own country.
What do you think is driving the Mexicans out of their country? They aren't free. They can't find jobs. They have no voice in their government.
Go ahead and move to Mexico, but expect to be eating beans every day and using what ever paper you can find for toilet tissue. There is no cable and no internet connection. And remember...you must do as the parish priest says or the government agents will see that you are moved out.

it really is a blend. that is like African-American or eastern-American. you're one area one race and one area american, (being american would not advise unavoidably being a felony citizen of the U.S. If both father and mother were born in Mexico, then the youngster is Mexican. A peach tree continues to be a peach tree even if its' planted in Texas or in China, proper?) as a way to respond to your question, even as someone says they are Mexican-American, it potential they're a blend of both nationalities. One ascertain is from Mexico and the different ascertain is American (usually, the different ascertain is Mexican-American as well). A slang, extra technical time period is chicano. besides the undeniable fact that it in person-friendly words APPLIES TO MEXICANS, no longer puerto ricans, brazilians, columbians, etc. merely because they talk an same language would not advise they are an same us of a. (Britian isn't observed as us of a....)

Yeah, right, GoKart. lol
Since when were they ever 'fair at anything?
Go ahead and try it, here's a letter to Mr. Bush to help you get in there 'smoothly', just put your name on it:
your name
your address
Dear President Bush:
I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this.
I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Vicente Fox, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. All government forms need to be printed in English.
4. I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.
5. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.
7. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services.
9. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.
13. Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy.
I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that Pres. Fox won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
However, if he gives you any trouble, just invite him to go quail hunting with your V.P.
Thank you so much for your kind help,
(your name)
