Before answering, check out CSA.org. I think you'll find it is not what the liberal media portrays. Is this a possible answer to the left and right "tug of war"?

I see so many comments made on here about the Constitution being worthless, that it no longer works, that it should be burned, that the current Administration has destroyed it...

I can understand some of the gray areas with the Patriot Act, but in what other way is our Constitution not functioning? I'd just like to know why some people feel its worthless?

Please keep the rants to a minimum - I want honest, responsible thoughts and facts.

Let's face it folks, the media is doing everything that it can to undermine the war on terror. They will print everything that they can get their grubby little hands on so long as it hurts public opinion and decreases troop morale.

In this time of war should newspapers, TV stations, and other media get a "seal of approval" for the news it reports? Should the freedom of the press be suspended for the safety of all Americans?

They got a woman and a black guy running for president, Bush isnt really that popular amongst americans right now, but that doesnt mean the republicans cant get back in office in 08, as a matter of fact theyre party seems to have more structure than the democrats and more unity. The democrats need to get serious, now?

The coins and paper money that all other Countries use such beautifull color contrasts and designs. Why is American money so boring? Why not make it more colorfull? Why has the money always looked so bland? I never noticed this until I started traveling.

Someone explain to a concerned citizen why firing a few attorneys by our AG must be blown to front-page proportions. To me this is just further proof that our entire Executive and Legislative Branches must be completely overhauled. The current elected officials no longer seem to be able to contact with the concerns and hopes of their constituents.

Most of Africa is made up of failed and corrupt states. The middle east is full of dictatorships, only Asia and India seems to have made it on its own. Why then not return to empire and be governed by somebody who can? Algeria was much more stable under the French. The Sudan was stable after Omdurman under the British. I don't think that the Brits could afford a 1895 style empire anymore, nor would the USA want to pay for one. Yet it seems that there was more benefit to being a protectorate of a mother country than being a backward independent.

If we are going to invade a country can we at least let it be for selfish reasons? Americans like big cars and long road trips. That requires a lot of gas. Iraq has gas and we need it. Plus we're sitting on a half trillion dollar military. Yes, yes. I know it's wrong but I'm a Democrat and I would support this war if we could turn Iraqi crude into good ole American gasoline. Cheap too. I have a big SUV and it's a guzzla. But hell. I am completely opposed to invasion of an oil rich country while gas creeps up to 3.25 per gallon. I say pull the troops out now if that's the case.
