The States should NOT be divided.

The Federal Government SHOULD be weakened. A lot.

No way, I think that being different is what makes America the great Nation that it is. I believe that we can get along and still not to agree on everything. I have always thought about dividing the liberal states and the Conservative states, but that would destroy America, because a house divided against itself cannot stand.

President Lincoln is remembered for his unswerving devotion to save the Union at all costs. In his eyes a civil war was the beginning of the end of it. " A House Divided Against Itself, Cannot Stand."
There is no truer thing spoken.
Advocates in America for dissension, separatism, are no different than the slave owners fighting to save it in exchange for the betterment of our country. Racism. Separatism. Discrimination's of all kinds underlie the csa mission.
But because of our great leaders and forefathers, they can spout all the gruel they want, 'cause it's America and we still have Freedom of Speech Rights, (for the time being, anyway).

I don't think it should. This was the one thing that people like Abraham Lincoln tried to prevent. At the Lincoln Memorial in D.C., Lincoln is sitting on the American Flag. This is a statement showing that he wouldn't let anyone take our country away from us. So, I say that the states should stay together.

United we stand, divided we fall...

That web address you gave is down or is invalid. If there is a modern group calling themselves the confederate states of America then I question their judgment for picking that name.

NEVER NEVER happen!

Texas is the only state that reserved the right to secede at the time they joined the Union.
Forget it.
Can you say, "Invasion"?

However, we could survive without the Union.

We've already determined, through war, that the preservation of the Union is the best way to go. We are one country, and shall stay one country.
