Even if they have an opinion, which is ok, should they have the right to call our "elected officials" nasty names ? This is not right. Just because they have the celeb. status, should not give them the right to demoralize our elected officials. If you or I
do that, we will be under FBI watch. And rightfully so.........
they give no suggestions on solving problems, just rotton
remarks.

"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil Constitution,
are worth defending at all hazards;
and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.
We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors:
they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure
and blood, and transmitted them to us with care and diligence.
It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation,
enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us
by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them
by the artifices of false and designing men."

state what you think is the worst ...does the most damage to america...political org in america... and why you believe so...
my choice is the NEA.. national education association... the union for teachers and educators...i believe they set the indoctrinating tone for our schools and is so decidedly left wing socially and politically that they have taken to indoctrinating our children from the time they get ahold of them up until they leave college with their socialist mantras.....not good for the individualist thinking that has made america great so far....

Hi,

I'm in the Uk and everyone tells me Masons do a lot for charity but what do they actually spend it on? Someone told me most of it gets ploughed back to fellow members needs but a mason once confided to me that he had gone as high as he could in freemasonry but still didn't know how a single penny was spent, was he pulling my leg?

This is really for Australians, but you Americans (or anyone else with a bicameral legislature) can answer (about your own senate) if you want.

I believe that it is a waste of money having a Senate (especially in Australia).

I guess you probably don't know the answer, so an educated guess will do. Has anyone seen the tie he's wearing today at Prime Minister's Question? I've never seen him in that tie before: it's the best tie I've ever seen him wear.

"Besides Starr, five other independent counsels are currently conducting investigations. Four of those focus on the Clinton Administration. The combined costs of those four inquiries and the Starr probe now comes to $79.3 million."

http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1999/04/01/counsel.probe.costs/

Yet...

The investigation into 9/11 where 3,000 Americans DIED, was originally appropriated ONLY 3 MILLION!!

"The White House brushed off a request quietly made last week by the 9-11 Commission Chairman Tom Kean, the Republican former governor of New Jersey, to boost his budget by $11 million...The panel has until the end of May 2004 to complete its work, but it will spend the $3 million it was originally allotted by around August 2003 — if it doesn't get the supplement."

http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,437267,00.html

So...what I am seeing here, is that an investigation into 9/11 was not nearly as important as a President's sex life? Am, I right?

Before the war in Iraq there was a large movement in Iran for a Democractic form of government, and the hardliners were afraid of losing their power. When the US invaded Iraq, the hardliners were to able put fear in their people that American would do the same to them, their people then supported the hardliners. They are now further ruled by fear as everyone threatens to invade them, so they select the hardliners. Is US policy hurting Irans chance of becoming Democratic?
