I mean did we really need to create a bomb that was capable of annihalating an entire city/country?

Could anything good ever have come from such a thing?

It's too bad sanctions weren't put in place THEN. Where was sanity hiding when someone said "Hey, let's create the nuclear bomb!!!"

We're just on the receiving end of "what goes around comes around" at this stage of existence.

I hear a lot of liberals saying "our representatives dont represent the people blah blah" and that why dont we have a direct democracy so the people can vote. Our forefathers tried to make this country as idiot proof as possible for future generations so they made a republic instead of a direct democracy, just incase some kind of widespread mental dissorder took over more than 50% of the voting base.

For example, Crystal Meth is a big problem in the US. If we had a direct democracy than after more than 50% of the people were addicted to meth they would hold more voting power and the country would be run by meth addicts which would in turn legalize meth and promote it and everyone else will start smoking meth and eventually it would be chaos and the country would crumble. Im imagining about cars crashing head on and buildings on fire in the distance.

Is anyone else glad we don't have a direct democracy, do you se the beauty in this fail safe? Yes or no, and explain.

I have a friend who was lucky enough to get an internship at the whitehouse. She says that whitehouse staff is really worried because GW has started drinking again....heavily.

Could the heavy drinking be affecting him to the point where is screwing up our country?

Remember how the war on terror is, like, the worst war this country has ever faced?
Well, apparently it's not that scary. At least compared to those scarier union workers.
The U.S. Senate began debating legislation to bolster America's security on Wednesday with the White House threatening a veto because one part would extend union protection to 45,000 airport workers.
The overall bill would implement many of the recommendations of the bipartisan 9/11 commission.
The measure would also let state and local governments share information with federal authorities, build better communication systems and provide grants to help high-risk areas prepare for disasters.
White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said if the labor provision remains in the legislation, "senior advisers would recommend" Bush "veto the bill." 36 Republican senators sent a letter to Bush on Tuesday saying they would provide the votes to sustain a veto in the Senate.
They are putting the nation's safety in peril.

The majority of people know that there was a conspiracy, but many will try to keep the truth away from you.

If you don’t believe me about the conspiracy, type in “9/11 conspiracy” in youtube, look through the videos and you will realize what is really happening.

The following tactics are used to quiet anyone who attempts to expose any of your subversive acts about 9/11:
(when the 9/11 conspiracy is mentioned)
* First, you ignore the charges, hoping the information will not be given widespread distribution.
* If the information starts reaching too many people, you ridicule the information and the person giving the information. (For example: joke about being part of the conspiray, resort to name-calling.)
* If that doesn't work, your next step is character assassination. If the author or speaker hasn't been involved in sufficient scandal, you are adept at fabricating a scandal against the person or persons.
* If none of these are effective, you are known to resort to physical attacks.
